  • @apeekintime

    Crazy how "out of shape" he is compared to competition form but you can see that base layer of insanely developed muscle in his back. Like a bedrock layer of development that only comes from a lifetime of training. That kind of base layer strength is why older lifters can still be very competitive in static events - that base layer is so powerful even if it is harder to keep mass as you age.

      You can do it too. You can reach your 1 rep max within 6 weeks of training even if you rested for 2 years assuming your program is 3 to 4 days a week. I stopped for 2 years came back, strength were still there but I was grinding cause I lack training but within 6 weeks I hit a new PR lol.

    • @Miiiiiiighty
      @Miiiiiiighty 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Mikey-uu8fi No you can't unless you were weak AF to begin with ( which is probably your case ) or on massive PED's.
      If you could reach your PR and even beat it in 6 weeks after a 2 years break programming wouldn't even exist and pro athletes would never train until 6 weeks out to their big events/competitions.
      Stop spewing BS & projecting your average weak Joe performance on world class/elite level athletes.
      ps : Lu only stopped for a year, is on most likely back on PED's and has started to train for 7 weeks now...
