- We sat down with Oregon OC Will Stein to talk about his journey playing High School football for legendary High School Coaches Bob Beatty and Andrew Coverdale at Trinity High School in Louisville, KY to coaching TXHSFB all the way to becoming the Offensive Coordinator at the University of Oregon.
We talked about Gameplanning, scripting plays, Sideline vs. Booth and the QB/Play Caller Dynamic.

Wouldn't trade Will for anyone! We keep him til he gets the call to be head man somewhere, which will happen! Love Will!!
Will can be a head coach in 2 years. Let’s enjoy him while it lasts !
Hopefully he rides it out a few years and wins a natty. If he’s able stick it out a few years to win a championship his coaching stock will go to the moon.
Andrew Coverdale literally wrote the book on the passing game. Amazing coach. His content is great stuff.

Great stuff coach...I can show you a system that has 9 play call options for each of our 5 base routes per formation...Simple system, simple install, and simply taking the gifts the defense gives you. Appreciate your work coaches. We always learn from your examples...keep up the great work coaches!

Who decided to run Bucky the first five drives of the pac-12 championship?? I blame Dan Lanning. But maybe it was stein’s call. That was what killed our chances of going to the playoffs!! Running a guy that’s not even close to 100%, who showed he wasn’t good the week prior in the civil war, and forcing him to run drive after drive with ZERO progress was the worst coaching decision of the entire season. Jordan James destroyed the beavers, and would’ve done way more damage to the huskies if he had been given the rock earlier, like WAY earlier in that championship game!! Feel bad for Jordan James, who was forced to sit while Bucky was doing NOTHING on the field, and our team was losing by a larger and larger margin, until Jordan James got to play.
