Almost done reading "Spontaneous Happiness" for the second time! It helped me connect a lot of the dots, being born in a village in Krajina Serbia then dropped off in the middle of Houston TX at the age of 10. Thank you very much Dr. Andrew Weil!
Getting off PPI's (six years ago) was exactly the final straw to me starting my health over with a new way of eating. Never been happier with diet and health as a direct result. Without PPI's you cannot eat the SAD diet forever as well as consume alcohol, I know I couldn't. Now I'm reflux free with no drugs (and no oils, no sugars, no processed).
Having read several of Dr. Weil's books, he's the one who got me interested in eating better, but it took the work of Michael Greger to get me to actually change my ways and find much better physical health. Now to work on Spontaneous Happiness-am re-reading it tonight. Happy to re-find Andrew Weil for this. Namaste
Dear Dr. Weil, I read your book 'The Natural Mind' in the mid 1970's and have been an avid follower/fan ever since. Your Book 'Spontaneous Healing' ( in the mid 1990's) actually changed my life-style and beliefs - for the better. Thank you, Sir. Looking forward to reading this new book! Thanks again for all you do, Dave Welch
Hey Doc, I read "Eating Well for Optimum Health" over 10 years ago. Its served me very well. As a matter of fact, I bought 4 more and gave them away as gifts. Since its been over a decade, any chance of writing an updated version? Thank you, and God Bless.
Multitasking has destroyed the quality of performance within the ones who try to do it. I have been a rebel against multitasking for years. I was raised in the generation of “one thing at a time.” My siblings were too but they have fallen into the trap of trying to spin six plates at once like a circus performer. I have asked them several times to take a step back and look at the productive time spent and the quality of their results. Of course I get that “look” I am sticking with the “one thing at a time” it’s never steered me wrong!

A decade ago Dr Weil talking about toxic positivity. As usual way ahead of his time.
