videos on TikTok of trash people twerking and humping shopping carts in the middle of grocery stores getting 20M views and then there's amazing, life touching art like this that's been around for 7 years and it hasn't even received a fraction of the attention it deserves. that is the state of our world, folks. As for this, it's beautiful and amazing and wonderful and I'm a better person for having seen it. thank you.
Boy, if you are capable of hitting an actual nail on the head as accurately as you hit this metaphorical nail on the head you'd be a master carpenter. It is disconcerting and depressing the absolute crap that humanity extracts from the endless potential of the Internet, imagine if that were not so, imagine if people waded into the online world looking for beauty as You, Nunya, obviousy have done, how different the world would be...Peace.
Can both of you shut the fuck up? A great product does not need to be compared to something the critic sees as bad, a apple is to be compared to another apple, you decide to compare it to mud just to have something to be mad about!
There can be no music without silence. No peace without war. No life without death. And no soul without soullessness. Like such there has always been trash and somewhere within that trash there has always been treasure.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE continue to make more of everything, the beautiful music, the lovely and touching story and amazing characters, in the end, we all see this story through our own eyes and interpret it , and adapt, and relate to it in our own unique ways, I think it was just wonderful, and Kodos to everyone involved with making this project a success.
Death is the most natural gardener ever, as I've witnessed through the decades and his new spin on life's nemesis was refreshing. I possess no technical knowledge of your industry, or any artistic ability but I know something great, when I see it and this was such! Thank you for uploading.
@@samuelmuldoon4839 1) "Death is the most natural gardner" is correct; the dead are powerful fertilizer for plants. 2) I think "his" was a typo and the o.c. meant to say "this." It's an error I see often and I've done it myself.
This a such w wonderful piece of art work. I love how you mixed medias of animation and stop motion. The art in and of itself is beautiful, but also the plot. I fell in love with it within a couple seconds! You truly are a wonderful artist and film maker! I would love to see more of your work, so please, for the sake of making wonderous things...keep making things. It's works like this that make smiles during such a sorrowful time. Thank you for this. It was the first thing I watched Christmas morning and it made my holiday. ~~Brody~~
The idea of Death as a playful little girl is appealing, and feels just right. Thank you. And then Death meets a gardening bot and they fall in love, a premise that's far-fetched enough I don't think I'd fall in with it unless the story was told with real artistry. And it was. A gentle captivating fable - and the music gives it shape. Again, thank you.
I love how the style changes sometimes! It's done in just the right spots and really well! Love the story, too, really touching. I got a little misty-eyed, to be honest.
And not just beauty but compassion as well. Is it possible that our eventual deaths are the ultimate expression of love that the universe feels for us? I just don't know but I guess I'll find out...
I love how there was no attempt to post-process the 3D printing layer lines away, laying bare the process that the film was made. Also.. 3D printing FTW.
I love the grim riper character and appearance. Last year I created a female character that resemble "Death" for a fairy tale story titled "Creepy love".
Well this was nice and emotional I may be 11 but I can still see the story live a life an enjoy it and eventually died but he enjoyed life and inspired someone(death) and it was amazing good luck on future projects
I like this post, it tells me that youth is not oblivious to the meaning that exists in that short interval between life and death. You are now 18, Max, have you learned more since your post, 7 years ago? Does the world seem different, better...worse...? Regardless, I hope that aside from the ordinary things we learn through living that you have also experienced the mystery and the love and the opportunities as well. Peace.
I am a fan of Love, Death + Robots from Netflix, 1st episode released 2019. And this was released 7 years ago? Was this, the catalyst? What sorcery is this? Please enlighten me. This work deserves more exposure. What a wonder!
This is very beautiful and touching! I'm glad i came out of curiosity, after watching the honorable dedicatory to James Heltibridle from TWD. Content like this deserve more attention...
Beautiful. 8yrs ago and over that time got 135k views. Yet sub count is still under 600. Please everyone when you watch just sub at the same time it's free and even if you don't want to see anything else you don't have to. But it really helps the channel
Hace poco publiqué un libro que se llama "El perro que se convirtió en flor azul" y tiene el mismo tema...Qué lindo encontrar coincidencias! Saludos desde Argentina!
Heart warming but sad at the same time! I wish Death had discovered the robots need for the power connection and learned to reconnect him when needed. I hate to see a good friendship end. This makes me remember my favorite Dr Seuss story about the pants with nobody in them. Like this, it made me cry feeling the sadness of the pants because everyone was afraid of him.
if only she knew she could have just plugged him back in.

So agree with you, tik tok brainrot doesn't deserve so much views
Just the thought of the adorable little Death puppet sitting on some shelf and I can't have her is bothering me. Immensely.

Are you kin to the people from Alderson W.Va I grew up there
Love this introspection.
This was one of the best, stop motion, films I've ever seen!

I don't think you understood the movie. Death was female. The robot gardener was male. The robot gardener did not represent death.

My Headcanon is she finds out about the power cord, goes •_• and then plugs the robot in. Yipee!

I saw this in high school and I've been checking every few months to see if I can find it anywhere online. It's just as beautiful as I remember it
Absolutely incredible. Shed a tear. Music was perfect. Love the stop motion work.

Beautiful and so sad!
I loved it. To me this said there can be beauty with death.

A robot does not know death. A robot has never lived. If something has never lived, then it can never die.

Really this is a really really such a great and amazing love story ^^ I wish i could see more
Cute video so sweet 😍
very cool !
This was like watching a dream from The Corpse Bride or The Nightmare Before Christmas
T_T it's.....it's so Beautiful. Oh my god this should be a movie but this Story is lovely by itself. So much Emotion with so little ( None ) words 🎭.
R.I.P James Hiltibridle
Oh my gosh, I can't believe 🤖 caqued.
So why didn't the robot just go back for a recharge?
I loved this so much! Is there anywhere I can watch more of your films?
I feel lonely. 😢
The robot reminded me of the main character Robot from movie Robots
incredible
Прелестное философское эссе!нежно и трогательно!музыка замечательна.
I guess this is where Netflix got inspired from!
This was soo cute...
nice characters and story, loved the pictures and the animation. the music was a lil annoying- so i turned it off. that was nice ^^
а нельзя ли подсоединить шланг обратно к роботу? может он бы очнулся бы (мало вероятно из за коррозии металла)🤔🤥😮💨
Que diálogo singelo entre um robô e a morte.....
Divino y mágico ❤
R.I.P James Heltibridle, just found out about his death today and found out he worked as an artist for this short movie
He also worked on TWD
@@devanrose9642 yeah i found him from that bcs he was at the end of an episode
Оконцовка грусная но мне понравилось когда он ей перчатки дал)
This video deserves millions of views. I guess only dumb stupid videos get the millions of views 😢

QUE BONITOOOOOO💕
She's gonna be really upset if she ever figures out how to maintain the robot. So much missed time when she could just fix it.
seria interessante se o robô fosse recarregável, pq era só conectar ele de novo àquele tubo pra abastecer a energia
So this is the origin of love death robots
Ohhhhhhhh.....😊💜✌️
