Orthodox Christian here. Many of my Orthodox brethren carry strong anti-Jewish sentiments. I don’t, even though I’m sure we’d disagree on many things. I wish you peace 🕊️
This is very true. I was a catechumen in the Orthodox Church and quit after I heard several of the members express their hatred towards the Jews. Very, very violent wishes. I am Sephardic Jewish and pass as North African because my family originates from Morocco. Plus I never share my Jewish identity to others. So I never received any discrimination because the church members thought I was Arabic like them. I even had a Palestinian man who did chanting tell me that I had the same name as his daughter. I truly wanted to fall in love with the religion and learn whether God was part of it. But I felt too uneasy to want to adopt Christianity and later on, found some of the church father’s teachings to confirm many of the sentiments I heard at church. I will stick to my roots and my culture but thank you for viewing people like me as humans
You can disregard anything a Christian says if it contradicts the New Testament. Any anti-semitism comes from the flesh and not from the Holy Spirit. It is clear that the New Testament has no ill-will towards the Jewish people. It would perplexingly asinine to conclude and believe otherwise. As one of the followers of the promised Messiah, Jesus, I have been grafted on, as a wild branch, into the tree in which the Jewish people have grown from, whose root is God Himself. When I became a believer of the Lord Jesus, He gave me such a deep love for the Jewish people that I can only attribute it to divine providence and so when I see so-called Christian Jew-hatred, it leaves me absolutely baffled. The New Testament is clear and if you have the Spirit of God in you as a true temple of the Living God, you will have an affection and a yearning for the Jewish people to believe on the promised Messiah, the Saviour of the World, who came not as wordly ruler, conquering and subdueing the world but reconciling mankind to Himself through mercy and grace, whilst fully just and righteous, which is demonstrated in His wonderfully selfless act of sacrifice to become Ruler of man's heart through the power of love, for God is love. God bless you. Shalom to you.
Hello, Chaim Sunitsky! I'm one of the Christians which came to your channel because of the algorithm and here is a topic which has been intriguing me the last few days. I think it's pretty much related to the Torah. It is about anti-Zionism among Jews. I heard about a neighborhood called Mea Shearim in Jerusalem, which is said to be one of the places where this idea is present. What I heard is that this belief exists because the state of Israel should only exist again with the arrival of the Messiah. I would love to learn about that from a Jew, and how it is understood among Jews. Thanks for you channel. God bless you!
Hello, yes such an idea exists and a certain percentage of Orthodox Jews including important Rabbis believe in it. However for most this is theoretical. In practical terms the history went the way it went and it's hard to imagine if the state of Israel disappears now, how the Jews would live in such a violent neighborhood? Most likely Hamas or Isis or some similar organization would come to power and kill them all whether they supported Zionism or not. In my opinion the current war is not the war between Jews and Arabs. Many in the Israeli army are Muslim Arabs (as well as Christians and others). It's the war between those who just want to live and let live and those who want to destroy those who are not like them. So IMHO to support Israel in this war one does not need to be a Zionist.
Maybe because Christians make some of them feel like they’re in the wrong even if not even dumb since Jesus wasn’t a Christian and never said to anyone that Christianity is the key to heaven. He’s a Jew who said, that he’ll come back to judge and divide people like goats and sheep’s, not to die again after a couple of days to “wash all your sins away”. He’ll do the opposite of it.
@@scottmacdavid9391 The videos were of social media influencers entering Ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods and trying to proselytize. These influencers either came to convert, or make fun of the Utra-Orthodox and they did not like it.
I am Christian, follower of Jesus also known as Yeshua the messiah as described in Isaiah 53. I keep the 10 commandments including the sabbath aka Shabbat. Many people call themselves Christians but do not follow the laws of God. That is Gods job to judge them not mine. My job is to study and follow about Gods word.
I find Jewish people in general not very open to outsiders. I have lived and worked amongst a decent Jewish population for years and yet found it difficult to interact with them. With that being said I did manage to speak to a few Jews who I crossed paths with while I worked with electrics in their homes. They were nice people and would occasionally offer me a brew.
So I can sometimes come across a bit judgemental, And the Dan can be described as Men of bitter spirit, or having a Dan anger . You are doing your best and don't seem to one eyed or its my way or the Highway. You are imparting what you have learnt and received well by many, so Good on You. 👍💜💙🎉🐍⚖️
You are called a "Jew", because of your religion, which is Judaism. Jew is Not a "race", it is a religion. Just like a Catholic is not a "race" , it is a religion. ... Catholic = Catholicism .... Jew = Judaism.
Wrong. Vast majority of Jews are descendants of one nation and this was proven by DNA studies. It's the "Palestinians" that don't exist as a nation. They are just regular Arabs who were in the Land of Israel in the end of 19th and beginning of 20th century. They never called themselves Palestinians until second half of 20th century. Even on Soviet maps which were totally anti Israel they put the country as "Arab state". Most Arabs there did not even want a separate state and many wanted to be part of Syria. In 1977, a senior official of the PLO, Zoheir Mohsen, admitted this: “The Palestinian people do not exist…Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism.”
@@chaimsunitsky6403 You are either deliberately Lying, or you are being deceived and brainwashed beyond help. I don't know which of the two you fit. #1. NOTHING has been "proven by DNA studies" about your Jewishness ! that is a blatant lie. #2. You, a Soviet national are a Foreigner to the Middle East.
And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them. - Esther 8:17 KJV According to the KJV many became Jews, not born Jewish. Hebrew vs Israelite vs Jewish is the question.
What's the punishment for breaking Shabbat? By stoning to death? Have you ever worked on Shabbat? How do you atone for the sin now that daily sacrifices are not happening anymore, just as Jesus predicted? Many Jewish laws require a capital punishment, usually by stoning to death. Our God is a just God! Would He be a just God if He were to leave lawlessness unpunished? God never breaks promises and everything prophesied by prophets will be fulfilled! Now, it is not required for Christian to convert others, but it's a merciful thing to do as God does not want anyone to perish!
I see you did not understand what I said. Listen carefully again. I don't have much time, but the main principle of Christianity if it were true would be written very clearly in the very first books the Jewish people got, and G-d would not rely on some ambiguous hints from prophets that were many centuries later. Every important command of Torah and principle of faith is that way. In case of Christian concepts they are in fact denied by Torah in many places, but even according to Christians they are at most "hinted" in some late books. Isaac Newton did not believe in Trinity and he was a Christian. How could such an important concept be only hinted somewhere? While Torah has many punishments in theory, in practice they require many conditions that are almost never met. In addition, if a person repents, it always helps, like the Torah clearly says. On the other hand the Torah nowhere says that "believing" in someone can "save" you. Torah wants true repentance and this is what is happening everywhere today in Jewish society. I personally was born in the Soviet Union and I did not know almost anything, so of course I broke Shabbat. If Christians did not believe in our Torah I would understand, but since they do believe in Torah also, how can they claim that first G-d gave all these commandments with their (theoretical) punishments and specifically wrote they are given forever and then all of the sudden took all that away and made a new requirement to believe in some man ... By the way the Torah predicts our long exile when there are no "sacrifices." Missionaries always make a big deal about sacrifices but repentance and good deeds are far more important, see for instance Proverbs 21:3, there are many such verses. By the way most of teachings of Jesus were totally not original and are found in our sources as well. It was Paul who transformed Christianity to what it is today with most of its ideas that totally contradict the Torah.
Another important point that you originally missed. Our nation's history is already predicted in the Torah. There are clear prophecies that it's our nation that will eventually come back to keeping commands of Torah and G-d will not choose instead a different nation (like Catholics used to think). Since today there is no "competitive" Jewish nation that follows Torah law except Talmudic Jews, then obvious G-d was talking about us. Had there been a large group of Jewish descendants today that would follow an alternative version of Judaism we may claim that Torah is talking about them. For instance for a long time we had various sects like Sadducees, Karaites and others. Today very few of them are left. So the bulk of Jewish people are basing their Judaism on Talmudic rabbinical teachings. Christians make think these teaching are wrong, but since the Bible is talking about the Jewish nation in the end of days there is really no alternative, these are the only Jews that try to keep the Biblical laws. So we don't even need to prove in each particular case that the Talmudic teaching is correct in this or that. We just accept the only remaining version of "Judaism" as there is no alternative. But if you want to argue about the specifics, I don't have the time but I am sure you can find on internet a lot already. All Christian arguments are very old and have been answered long time ago. In many cases the answers come from Christian scholars themselves. With all that I do think that Christianity was generally a positive force in the idolatrous world of old and did bring many of the Jewish teachings to non-Jews and today there are many great things that Christian organizations do. I once donated 180 dollars to a Christian group that helps people in Africa. Obviously a billion Christians can do a lot more than a few million Jews to make the world a better place.
@@chaimsunitsky6403 Ohh good, you know about Paul, who called himself jew of jews, member of the Pharisees! He was a pure jew and highly educated. Paul, who had all the books of Old Testament memorized, not just Torah, who prosecuted Christians for "spreading heresies" until Jesus visited him and asked him "why are you prosecuting me?". Then he repented and became a Christian! You quoted the proverbs, but you don't understand it yourself! Read the whole chapter again! You cannot amend for a sin by doing what you were already supposed to do! Is like asking forgiveness from the judge for passing red light on the grounds of properly stopping on the previous red light... It says it's more acceptable for God to not sin than to make sacrifice for forgiveness. The Christians that say that Jesus allowed them to live unrighteous life are the ones misguided! This if what Jesus said: “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:17-20 NKJV Don't hang up to the concept of holy trinity. It is not mentioned in the Old Testament for the same reason that it is not mentioned in the New Testament. Think of it as the aspects of God. Jesus said "I and My Father are one." (John 10:30 NKJV) Think of it as this: at one point in time you were a san, then you may become a father, and you have your spirit within you, and so is God, but God is omnipresent and can be at all places at all times! People who quote Proverbs 21:3 to justify their sinful life are just like those "Christians" who think that Jesus came and sacrificed Himself, so that they can justify their sinful lives!
@@chaimsunitsky6403 I'm not going to argue about Talmudic teachings. I'll just give you one point that you probably haven't heard before. You'll not understand the essence of God's relationship to us if you don't understand the New Testament. You see, in the beginning, God didn't create Jewish man; He created human man for Himself, but he listened to the serpent and ate the apple, and died, spiritually. But God has a plan, a secret plan, to reconcile us to Himself, all of us! The Bible is God's love story! God went into covenant relationship with His chosen, His wife, the nation of Israel, and she bore Him His one and only Son. Of course, God knew what's going to happen to Him and He tested His chosen: “Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” Genesis 22:2 NKJV He wanted Isaac and you to understand what it feels like for Him when His only Son was sacrificed for you. The New Testament is the story of His Son's love, the church. The church is going into Labor soon, and Her son, will be the kingdom of God, the new Israel! In the following chapter, the women is Israel: “Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.” Revelation 12:1-6 NKJV When you truly understand God's plan, everything in the Bible suddenly falls into place, and you see in front of you a beautiful love story where everything just makes sense and you become God's family! He becomes our Father!

House of Judah forsook their inheritance to the land of Israel when they rejected the proposed king Reheboam and thus became the Southern Kingdom of Judah. House of Judah should rejoin the House of Israel. Also, House of Judah syncretized God's titles to all just mean "God" during the Babylonian captivity around 2500 years ago. House of Judah should unsyncretize God's titles as well. How can we figure out reality with God's titles all just meaning "God"? These things are blasphemy and heresy. We should fix these things. Food for thought 💭.

On the noahide laws, what constitutes sexual immorality? I've heard a rabbi saying that masturbation is just as bad as anything and that when you spill your seed it will haunt you
I remember seeing that among Jewish authorities there is some dispute whether masturbation is forbidden to Bnei Noach. At any rate the known book: Sefer Hassidim (book of righteous) mentions that in order to escape the temptation of being with a forbidden woman, one is better off spilling seed. Note also that the concept of masturbation primarily applies to men, but it's not clear in Jewish law even for Jewish women if any prohibition exists.

I am really sorry but it's hard for me to answer every specific question. Also I am not sure if you mean the "meal offering" described in Leviticus 6:7-8. And this is the ritual of the meal offering: Aaron’s sons shall present it before G-d, in front of the altar. A handful of the choice flour and oil of the meal offering shall be taken from it, with all the frankincense that is on the meal offering ... According to the Talmud this was offered by the High Priest every day twice - in the morning and second half of the day. Also the entire service on Yom Kipur was performed by the High Priest. Other than that most of the service was done by regular priests. .

Christianity is a love-based religion and its a shame that so many have forgotten that. The 2nd most important commandment comes to mind. Isn't the Spirit of God mentioned throughout the Torah? Isn't that supposed to be His vehicle here on Earth? I've only heard Catholic interpretations so I'm genuinely asking.

I have a question..? What does it mean of the statement that the Jewish people are to be a light to the nations..? In what form or in what way are they supposed to be a light to the nations? What is it that the nations need to be in the light? What is it that God gave you as a responsibility to share with the nations? Why did God send Prophet Jonah to tell the people of Nineveh to repent? A message personally from The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to the nation of Nineveh. Why did Prophet Jonah mention that this message is from The God of the Hebrews? Why did the people of Nineveh need to know who and which God is sending them the message and will judge them for their transgressions? Is it important for the nations to know The One True Living God? Is it a responsibility given to the Jews to preach and give the message to the nations of and about the One True Living God? It says in the Torah that The One True Living God is a consuming fire, a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24). Does that mean that God wants all people (nations) to know Him (Having a loving relationship with God) and to worship (Revere) Him alone? What about the verse in the book of Proverbs 9:10 which states the following: "10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.". Thus, is there importance in knowing The One True Living God, and will it make a difference in the lives of all people? I believe according to the word of God that that is absolutely true. Every person who knows the truth has to share it, this is the light (God's Word/His Truth) we carry to have it shine onto others. It is a responsibility and a blessing to share it with others. If God Is zealous about all His creation because He loves and cares about them, we should do the same if we have God's love and zeal in us. This is part of the two most important commandments that holds all the other commandments together, it is to love The Lord Your God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. If you love God, you will love what He loves, and if you love your neighbor you will share the good you have with them. Shalom, and God bless, yours truly a Ninevite.
Shalom. Your questions are very deep and require whole books to answer but in the most concise form, if the Jewish people will keep all the Torah's commands and build society based on Torah they can be an example to everyone else. Much of what American forefathers tried to build is based on these values.
Jeremiah and Ezekiel talks about the new covenant that will be enacted in it's fullest when Moshiach comes... HaShem has his chosen people in hand, when that day comes all will be Israel, not xtian (Rome/Edom), as Moshiach will lead the world to Torah; from Jerusalem will the law go forth...
Jewish people don't go around saying they are actually a Jewish person, they get on with their own lives, if any Jewish people are out and abut you won't even know that they are actually jewish, my opinion is that I've most likely talked to them and was not aware of them being a jew, my mum when she was a young woman, dated a Jewish man, he tourght her Jewish song's, and ovouslly she actually did see that he was a circumcision man....
Can you tell me where in the Bible God says if non Jews follow Noahide Laws they'll be made righteous? And according you God contradicts himself, considering the prophecies concerning the righteous servant in Isaiah, the righteous branch in Jeremiah, the Lord himself in Malachi all refering to an individual to come who'll be covenant to all humanity, including the Jews.
I don't understand what you are asking and unfortunately cannot answer every question. If you want to know about laws of Noahide I just made a short video recently, see latest videos on my channel. You can get a lot more info on this on the web. There are so many sites that talk about the Noahide laws. This is the basis of moral law and any non-Jew who keeps them is considered righteous.
@@chaimsunitsky6403 You've still not answered my question, sir! About where specifically in Hebrew scriptures where God says non Jews can follow Noahide Laws to make them righteous?
They "practice" judaism only when they want, for example not stoning adulterous women. judaism is not a religion but only nationalim, this is why they follow the traditions and rituals of judaism, but they dont believe one word of the torah.
Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth. Romans 10:1-4 KJV
Relative to large Catholics, Greek Orthodox and even certain large Protestant groups it's small. But everything is relative. As I said it's larger than the number of all Jews.
When one reads the NT Book of Acts, one discovers that the 12 Apostles and their immediate followers, including Sha'ul who became Paul, were observant Jews. All of them. They followed the Torah, ate kosher, and rested on the Sabbath. The only difference between them and the surrounding Jews is that they believed Yeshua from Nazaret was the foretold Messiah, followed His enhancement of Torah (His teachings) and they were given a Command after His apparent Resurrecton to tell this to everybody possible so that they might come to belief, too. What Christianity has become ever since the Gentile Church outpaced and left behind the Jewish Church is nothing short of misguided. Yes, a strong faith. Yes, a love for God and for all people. But narrowly short-sighted. It will never recapture the energy of the 1st Century, but, be that as it may, One For Israel has shown without a doubt that Orthodox Jews like yourself can (and should) turn to Yeshua ha'Moshiach of Nazaret to be healed. Your Jewishness will not diminish but will rather become completed. God bless, my friend 🙏

2:21 Christians usually love love this word salvation to be saved I don't really like this word..." Well thats sad, because YHWH said, behold the Salvation of the LORD when Moses parted the Red Sea. The word Salvation there is Yeshua. Is that why you don't like the word salvation? Because the Hebrew word, name is Yeshua?
Of course there are a lot of words for "salvation" in the Torah in a sense of being saved from some danger, not in Christian sense of everyone being automatically doomed until they believe in someone and be "saved." But G-d is called our Savior and Salvation is in Him for everyone who trusts Him. King David in particular was saved so many times from danger because of his Trust.
@@chaimsunitsky6403Shalom to you Rabbi, Thank you for your reply, What can be more Jewish than believing in the messiah? And according to Jeremiah 23:5. The righteous Branch and stump of David will be the LORD Himself. The following is an excerpt from Messianic Christology by Arnold Fruchtenbaum "...In the relation to a human being. Despite this, Jeremiah 23'.5 clearly speaks of a man - a human descendent of King David - and in 23:6 he is given a name which is the name of God alone. This is something which was not, in fact, disputed by the ancient rabbis, who always interpreted this as a messianic passage. It is only relatively recently that rabbis have tried to argue otherwise. Four quotations from rabbinic writings can be given to show this. In the Midrash on Proverbs 19:21 (c. 200 - 500 A.D.) it says: Rabbi Hunah said "Eight names are given to the Messiah which are: Yinnon, Shiloh, David, Menachem, Jehovah, Justi de Nostra, Tzemach, Elias." The fifth name listed is Jehovah, the name of God, and this is based on the words of Jeremiah 23:6. The seventh name is Tzemach, or "Branch," and this is based on Jeremiah 235. In the Midrash on Lamentations 1:16, it says: What is the name of the Messiah? Rav Ava ben Kahanna said, "Jehovah is his name and this is proved by, 'this is his name... [quoting Jeremiah 23:6]."' What other candidates do you have?
Excellent explanation. But isn't Judaiism a bit of an anachronism now? Aren't they akin to those enthusiasts who re-enact medieval combats with all the original armour and weapons ? All those special laws you observe were necessary 3000 years to provide guard rails for your people to stay within the precepts your sages had identified as being essential to your navigation among the surrounding pagan civilisations. But in AD 70 big questions were being asked whether Judaiism could ever become a new empire religion. Yahweh had deserted the Jews in Jerusalem.Josephus led the way. Christianity was built on the Old Testament, but removed all the finickky laws because the pagan world had changed enough to make the precepts they guarded, widely integrated.Yes, the writers lied about Isaiah and Zech and Psalms, but they got away with it because it was possible. Now, both religions are waiting for their Messiahs to come- neither will : it's all symbolic.

That would be christianity, counterfeit to G_D and Judaism--Look guys/gals, in christianity someone died for us, took our sins so we don't have to be accountable. Seems certain people are jealous so they come up with their own nonsense which nothing to do with Judaism.
I'm a torah observant believer in Yeshua. He lived by and taught the torah. Daniel says the messiah must come before the destruction of the 2nd temple. He (Yeshua) has been "dressed up" in gentile, pagan clothing and so unfortunately jews don't recognise him. Just as Joseph's brothers didn't recognise him until he revealed himself. Yeshua will reveal himself again when he returns.
The very fact that the early "Jewish Christians" all disappeared makes it impossible for the new "Jews for Jesus" claim continuity. The same argument applies: could the Jews be mistaken for most of our history? Should we come and learn from Christians about Jesus's teachings? They are the only ones that preserved his teachings. You would not even know he existed if not for the Christian Bible. Obviously if this was true the Torah would have told us all this. I don't want to repeat the arguments, just listen carefully to what I said.
You forgot about the Arab Jews and people who carried on Jewish traditions and became Muslims. They preserved some of the teachings and life of Jesus (in their own way) via the Quran and believed them to be “the messiah”. Even some early messianic Jews entertained the thought of an Arab “leader” helping liberate the Jewish people when Arabs came to power. Jewish people and Their communities (whether they were believers in Jesus or not ) were never ignorant of what was in the Quran and didn’t depend on learning about Jesus from modern Christianity or the Bible after those religions “split”. Islam was always an element Jewish theology since 7th century in the Middle East because they lived together and Jewish people were aware of Muslims and their religion was always a threat to Jewish life and Jewish beliefs in more ways than one. This is history. Not religion. How do you explain this?
Maybe there are some Christian Unitarian groups that would interpret something like this but in Jewish thought there is no such thing. Remember, the many teaching of Jesus were in no way special for the Jews, as almost everything he said (at least what is recorded in the Gospels) is quite similar to what many Rabbis taught at that time before and after him.
REGARDLESS OF YOUR OPINION OF SALVATION THROUGH CHRIST, DOES NOT. HANGE THE FACT. THAT GOD SEND HIS JESUS OUR MESSIAH TO BE CRUCIFIED FOR THE SINS OF MANKIND, INCLUDING JEWS, AND GENTILE. Explain why Manoah after seeing the Malak YHWH in Judges 6 and 13 said that they have seen God face to face and lived? I could list much more, But Sam goes into more depth in the playlist. God has chosen Jewry to be His Witness, though rabbinic Judaism shirks this mission which Christianity is dedicated to fulfill: "I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. (Isaiah 42:6,7; Zechariah 4; Revelation 11; Romans 11 KJV)"
So if we are gentiles and only need to follow noahide laws, why do Jews get so triggered by our beliefs and that Jesus was the messiah? 🤣You have rabbis that make their whole channel about "disproving" christianity and I find no such channels of christian apologists attempting to "disprove" Judaism. I dont believe in converting Jews as I believe that ship has sailed since like 33ad and I know of no christian that attempts to do that here in the USA. Perhaps you may have encounter missionaries in Israel but 9 times out of then those are messianic jews or Jews that believe in Jesus as the messiah and they want to spread the word/
Rabbi don't want those who are born Jewish to be Christian. But we don't try to change the minds of non-Jews. I think I was very clear about this. Billions of dollars are spent on those missionaries who target specifically the Jews, when there are so many gentiles that are not so believing Christians they could have targeted. We just want our nation to be left alone.
@@chaimsunitsky6403A question please - If a person born Jewish becomes a Christian because he experiences this as making his life better and more fulfilling, why would rabbis not want this for this person?
We believe that a Jew cannot convert to other religions, it's a huge betrayal of our covenant with Hashem and that's why we try to encourage such a person to come back to the faith of his ancestors. There is a reason why Hashem sent him to this world to be Jewish.
@@chaimsunitsky6403 Thankyou Chaim Sunitsky for your reply. May I ask does that also apply to Jews raised atheists and whose grandparents were also atheists?
@@ayats-uz4ww We try to bring every alienated Jew closer to the Torah. Generally people who as you mention have left Torah for generations are treated as "tinok shenishba" - a child who was raised away from Yidishkait who is not at fault. Actually I personally don't find fault with those Jews who due to lack of knowledge of Judaism explore Christianity or Hinduism or anything else. Many of them are very sincere. Once on a Russian radio a Rabbi here got a call from a person who defined himself as a Jewish Christian or Jew for Jesus or something like this and the Rabbi told him that he has many friends who first belonged to these types of Messianic Jews and later became Orthodox Jews. So he wishes him to do the same.
Salvation is the purpose of Judaism as well. Otherwise, there's no purpose in following the Law. Christianity is the fulfillment of Judaism. Jesus, Whom Christians accept as Immanuel, the Messiah, declared that the purpose of the Law is Faith in God's salvation (Luke 8:47,48 KJV). The Law in itself is idolatry (Romans 8:3,4 KJV). Conversely, however, Faith is hypocrisy if not put into practice as the Law (though the Law's sacrifices are fulfilled in Christ Jesus' Own sacrifice of our lifeblood, that of His Blessed Virgin Mother Mary, to our death on the Cross but then, He resurrected us from death by His eternal Divine immortality) (James 2:14-25 KJV). We shall be changed from corruptible flesh to incorruptible spirit upon His Second Coming (1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV). Christian proselytising is not about "conversion to 'our' way of thinking" for some carnal partisan political advantage as is perhaps Islam. The Christian mission is to announce the Gospel of Jesus Christ's salvation to a world who are lost in their false self-deification which God will recognize them to have, He not imposing on His Own unimposable Image, but that they must have in Hell (Nonexistence) apart from God's true Deity in Heaven (God's presence) which will ultimately include the New Heaven and New Earth, conquered from obliterated Hell (Hebrews 12:27; Revelation 20:14 KJV). Yet, "While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. (John 17:12 KJV)" "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. (1 Corinthians 3:11-15 KJV)" "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:16-19 KJV)"
I will quote your version of our Bible (your “old testament”) The “law” you call idolatry is actually “Torah” our commandments/instructions. Romans 8:3-4 doesn’t call it such. And this law you speak of G-d in-trusted us with to love, know keep/follow/obey forever. Never did He say there would be a time when someone would fulfill and it would be null and void. I’m very familiar with your Bible (NT) and it contradicts not only itself the Tenakh (“old” testament). Psalm 119 is about this same law you mentioned. Psalm 19: 7 The law of the L-rd is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the L-rd is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the L-rd are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the L-rd is pure, enlightening the eyes. Proverbs 28: 4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them. Psalm 103: 17 But the mercy of the L-rd is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; 18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
We will not call upon anyone for salvation besides our only Salvation, to do so, WOULD be idolatry. Isaiah43:11 I, even I, am the L-RD, And besides Me there is no savior. Numbers 23:19 “G-d is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”
Your religion is idolatry, G-D's law can't be idolatry (which you will be judged by 7 laws of Noah) for HE gave the laws and opposes Idolatry so romans 8,3,4,kjv is trash. And if the law as it's claimed by what you posted is idolatry than that make your jesus and idolater since he came to fullfill those laws. Phony religions expose themselves all the time. There is only Torah (G_D's laws, commands, instructions) and anything else is false.
Sorry brother but you are wrong. I'm a devout Muslim (alhamdulillah) but there are many examples of trinity in Tanakh before Isaiah. Genesis has many examples so jews knew it but ignored it. Islam is the only true monotheism. Allah Hafiz brother. Take care.
That would require a separate video that I don't currently have time for. The only reason I made this video is because a lot of Christians post comments on my other videos and I wanted to make one short answer that I can always reference them to. If I will get many more comments of people who would want to know about the Jewish position on Islam I might consider making the video about it.
@@chaimsunitsky6403 Please do make one. I've heard of mizrahi jews in the time of the prophet converting due to seeing a "prophecy" in the torah about Muhammed supposedly.
There were a lot of conversions into Christianity and Islam throughout our history and it's hinted in the Torah in 28-th chapter of Deuteronomy. Most were forced conversions but some were due to certain privileges people got rather than being second class citizens. Only on ocasion were these sincere conversions. And yes, of course some of the converts used "proofs" from the Torah just as in case of Christianity. As I mentioned, we believe that the mitzvoth are eternal and therefore any "prophet" that comes up with other commands will not be accepted in Judaism. Our prophets did not give new commands but rather reinforced the existing ones.
Orthodox Christian here. Many of my Orthodox brethren carry strong anti-Jewish sentiments. I don’t, even though I’m sure we’d disagree on many things.

Why some jews spit on Christians? Is it a tradition? Is it required to do from talmud ? What is the deal? Can you answer this? I am genuinely curious
I have not heard such a thing. No it's not a tradition and not in the Talmud.

I find Jewish people in general not very open to outsiders. I have lived and worked amongst a decent Jewish population for years and yet found it difficult to interact with them.

And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them. - Esther 8:17 KJV
According to the KJV many became Jews, not born Jewish.
This if what Jesus said:
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 5:17-20 NKJV
Don't hang up to the concept of holy trinity.
Of course, God knew what's going to happen to Him and He tested His chosen:
“Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” Genesis 22:2 NKJV
He wanted Isaac and you to understand what it feels like for Him when His only Son was sacrificed for you. The New Testament is the story of His Son's love, the church. The church is going into Labor soon, and Her son, will be the kingdom of God, the new Israel!
In the following chapter, the women is Israel:
“Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.”
Revelation 12:1-6 NKJV
When you truly understand God's plan, everything in the Bible suddenly falls into place, and you see in front of you a beautiful love story where everything just makes sense and you become God's family! He becomes our Father!

You think the Seventh-day Adventist Church is a small church?

Because the Hebrew word, name is Yeshua?

Of course there are a lot of words for "salvation" in the Torah in a sense of being saved from some danger, not in Christian sense of everyone being automatically doomed until they believe in someone and be "saved."
But G-d is called our Savior and Salvation is in Him for everyone who trusts Him.
King David in particular was saved so many times from danger because of his Trust.
@@chaimsunitsky6403Shalom to you Rabbi,
Thank you for your reply,
What can be more Jewish than believing in the messiah?
And according to Jeremiah 23:5.
The righteous Branch and stump of David will be the LORD Himself.
The following is an excerpt from Messianic Christology by Arnold Fruchtenbaum
"...In the relation to a human being.
200 - 500 A.D.) it says:
Rabbi Hunah said "Eight names are given to the Messiah which are: Yinnon, Shiloh,
David, Menachem, Jehovah, Justi de Nostra, Tzemach, Elias."
The fifth name listed is Jehovah, the name of God, and this is based on the words of Jeremiah 23:6.
The seventh name is Tzemach, or "Branch," and this is based on Jeremiah 235.
In the Midrash on Lamentations 1:16, it says:
What is the name of the Messiah?
Rav Ava ben Kahanna said,
"Jehovah is his name and this is proved by, 'this is his name... [quoting Jeremiah 23:6]."'
What other candidates do you have?
Since the Torah says the laws are eternal, we believe they are eternal.

I don't know if there is any official "Jewish" position on pyramids. Who cares?
Are you different from the Jews in Matthew Mark Luke and John?
Is it possible the Jesus is actually the angel known as the guardian angel of Rome? The one who wrestled with Jacob?
It’s because G’d made all the laws and sacrifices to show that it is so very difficult to be kept in the book of life, impossible really! We believe that a Jew cannot convert to other religions, it's a huge betrayal of our covenant with Hashem and that's why we try to encourage such a person to come back to the faith of his ancestors. There is a reason why Hashem sent him to this world to be Jewish.

I will quote your version of our Bible (your “old testament”)
The “law” you call idolatry is actually “Torah” our commandments/instructions.
Psalm 103: 17 But the mercy of the L-rd is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
We will not call upon anyone for salvation besides our only Salvation, to do so, WOULD be idolatry.
Isaiah43:11
I, even I, am the L-RD, And besides Me there is no savior.
