WE WILL DESIGN 2023

From 17 to 23 April 2023 we hosted We Will Design, our IDEA of Design Week. Exhibitions, workshops and events focused on the search for a plural, democratic and inclusive design,
on the themes expressed by the acronym I.D.E.A. - Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility; four dimensions and hundreds of intersections and nuances, to intertwine the lives of almost 8 billion people on the planet.
AN IDEA OF WHAT IT WAS LIKE:
→ Claire Fontaine’s large immersive LED installation;
→ The great exhibition collected the works of emerging designers, design studios, academies and universities, with a focus on new perspectives of design;
→ Temporary Home, the unique residence: 5 rooms of casaBASE - BASE’s guesthouse -became the home of international designers who developed and shared their projects with the public;
→ A Public Program: stories, projects, opportunities for growth and change, with the experiences of designers, institutions, foundations, Italian and international realities around the issues of accessibility and inclusion;
→ We Will Design - MUSIC, the music festival that animated all the evenings before and during the Design Week 2023;
→ We Will Design - KIDS, child-sized moments that bringed kids closer to the world of design, and vice versa, in collaboration with I Ludosofici.
