Great video! I bought a ‘98 in October and originally I thought the driver’s door making a noise was because it was in a wreck in the front right. The door also won’t stay open on its own. However, part of the reason may be because of that mechanism. Regardless it will help with if any of the other doors develop the issue.

Don't hammer the pin in, put it in the freezer over night to shrink the steel, will go in easier. Grease it up too.

If you find yourself having trouble feeding the new door check in tie a string to it and pull it through. This lines it up.
