Yeah probably the worst carbon footprint per capita travel of 2024, by mostly people believing in magic sky daddy, explaining to people who believe the earth is flat that their beliefs are wrong... The level of absurdity is incredible... But at least it's "officialy settled", there is a 24h sun in antartica every year, as we already knew since so many centuries
It's not that they don't believe it. Most of them KNOW the Earth is round. But they won't "accept it" because they wanna keep their grift going and that's how they make money off of gullible people. And besides, you're too short sighted, man. It's more than just showing them truth. These guys are also conducted a few tests there, recording videos of Antarctica and lastly, it might help skeptical people to understand our world and showing them that Flat Earth is nothing but an archaic belief and disproven by an actual science.
I got an idea! Why not use software to make it look as if the camera is following the Sun. Done ✅ While we're at it let's 360 view video that people can rotate for themselves while watching it. Done✅
They will ignore the title, claim that at 9:50 there are two suns in frame and that the camera that is meant to track “the sun” is pointing at neither one of them
Is it possible to create another version of this where the sun stays in place at centre and the world moves around it. It might help some people appreciate the reality of what's going on.
@ReinoGoo hold the sun at the center of the 2D video. I should have been clearer. It's just a combination of the cropped sun-tracking version of the timelapse, and this videos full 360 projection.
You mean with a pac-man earth instead of a pac-man sun. You could also tilt the virtual camera down, to get the ground under the camera in the same direction (and a nice sine curve on the horizon).
How long do you think it will take a flerf to complain that the camera in the middle isn’t pointing at the sun a lot of time, thus showing they don’t understand how this projection works.
See another TH-cam Timelapse video of Milky Way that shows the earth’s rotation👇🏿 A timelapse of the Milky Way that was recorded using an equatorial tracking mount over a period of around 3 hours to show Earth's rotation relative to the Milky Way. @@ronaldhollis6044 Equirectangular is not a mount. That’s the whole 360° footage in a rectangular frame. It means that the left edge of the frame touches the right edge of the frame (like a PacMan thing). Equatorial mount is the mount that’s used to track objects in the sky. That onw with Dave’s mirrorless camera on.
Ferfs will make videos "debunking" this. Not because they think it's fake, they know it's real, they know the earth is a globe but a debunking video of this will get plenty of views. They won't care how ridiculous their explanations will be they need to keep the coins coming in and a debunking video will get lots of views and comments from both sides.
Flerf talking points. 1. There are no oil rigs to test how far we see. 2. People don’t move that fast. 3. The Sun magically appears on the right. It should be the other way around because the sun only rises in the east and the west is always on the right.
It’s been interesting seeing the timelapse of camp activities. Toon, Dave, CT constantly active performing experiments and gathering data. Jeran and Witsit emerging from the shed occasionally to wander around. Who are the real truth seekers?
They checked where the sun rise was in Punta Arenas. They were in disbelief and it was dawning on them what that would mean for Antartica. Jeran filmed a few things. Witsit, I don't know. He didn't seem to have packed properly.
9:50 "Oh look, pac-man earth, The sun went from the left Side to the right side in a flash. Flatearth confirmed!" Something the flatearthers will say lol. Im obviously joking, i know its the 360 camera with all 360 degrees in one frame.
If anyone thinks this is a dome could you show me footage of a dome that would be big enough to cover the range they have walked to and from with full 360 coverage including the roof that could run for 24 hours long in Antarctica with no evidence of any studio?
The dome they used for this is around 36km in circumference and 2,000m tall. It contains 200,000,000 16K LED screens and is powered by 1,500,000,000 penguins on treadmills, working six hour shifts.
LOL, I was going to say that too, right about the mid-point. I also saw the boots looking shifty. And what was with that camera pointing back over my head when the sun was still in frame on the left. ALL LIES !!
Can we get a version where the virtual camera is tilted down, with the shadows going away in front of the camera on one side and the sun behind the camera on the other side?
Yeah :D They already fail at understanding simple optics. They could never wrap their head around the concept of a 360° video in an equirectangular projection. Though this is what the camera actually recorded. It has an physical optic which does project the whole surrounding world onto this rectangular projection. We can wrap it back onto a sphere around us to get back the original view. That's what a 360° video player does and you can freely "look around" by looking at different parts of that sphere.
@ to be honest this does my head in trying to work out what’s going on. I’ve done it myself when borrowing a mates 360 cam but yeah it’s a mind bending visual

This is where the 24 hour sun in Arctica is in December: South of the equatorial plane in space, with the equator on the earth still rotating from west to east 24 hours every day.
@@phillipbireta9308 They're not bent. That's an artifact of the lenses used in a 360 degree camera. If you look, you'll see that everything is "bent" and that the closer an object is to the camera the more it "bends".
i think that is where the stictching between cameras occurs - the group used two cameras, so the distortion should appear in each at the stitch points and be 45 deg apart

@@carsonwongthey're only saving their grift. Look how desperately they scrabble to concoct excuses and fabricate explanations out of whole cloth.
Cool!! Keep doing what you're doing greatersapien
I got an idea! Why not use software to make it look as if the camera is following the Sun.
Done ✅
While we're at it let's 360 view video that people can rotate for themselves while watching it.

I can't wait for the comments by the FE brigade claiming CGI because the shadows are curved...
Pac man earth. I knew it.
Waiting for flerfs to compelely misunderstand this video 🤣🤣 Read the title, will tell you all you need to know
They will ignore the title, claim that at 9:50 there are two suns in frame and that the camera that is meant to track “the sun” is pointing at neither one of them
Is it possible to create another version of this where the sun stays in place at centre and the world moves around it. It might help some people appreciate the reality of what's going on.
You mean with the sun in a hole, and the edge of the image opposite the sun?
I am not sure what they would make of that.
@@ReinoGoo exactly.
How long do you think it will take a flerf to complain that the camera in the middle isn’t pointing at the sun a lot of time, thus showing they don’t understand how this projection works.
Then you show them an image of a street crossing, in NY city.
This actually proves the earth is flat is what they will say
It took me a moment to figure out what I was looking at. I turned up the play speed to 2x it made the slow progression of the shadows more notable.
Something, something green screen, CGI, sun simulator, NASA, derp! 🌏🌍🌎🙄
You was nearly there my friend its just you missed the word PERSPECTIVE ... :)
@@ibeyheald9200 True! 😅
Faking a flerf comment with only "derp"? Come on, you could at least try!
It helps if you imagine yourself viewing this from the centre of a cylinder.
Sphere…
@boxcardboard5594 My comment was aimed at flat earthers. I deliberately avoided using the word 'sphere' as I knew it would trigger them.
@ 🤣
See another TH-cam Timelapse video of Milky Way that shows the earth’s rotation👇🏿
A timelapse of the Milky Way that was recorded using an equatorial tracking mount over a period of around 3 hours to show Earth's rotation relative to the Milky Way.
EXIF: 24mm, 10", F/2.8, 16000iso.
th-cam.com/video/1zJ9FnQXmJI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eovVN3K6tMZeBAlV
What’s the difference between equirectangular and equatorial tracking mounts?
That proves it. The world is flat and works like the pac-man map. The sun goes off one side and pops up on the other. 😉
But if you move the earth instead you get the asteroids map.
And look what happens if you point the map up at the south pole.
👀Did any of the 🌎flat earthers run any of their own individual tests while they were there!?!? ☀️📷🔭📝
It’s been interesting seeing the timelapse of camp activities. Toon, Dave, CT constantly active performing experiments and gathering data. Jeran and Witsit emerging from the shed occasionally to wander around. Who are the real truth seekers?
They did a few things, including some sun filter shots and a tracking camera.
They checked where the sun rise was in Punta Arenas. They were in disbelief and it was dawning on them what that would mean for Antartica. Jeran filmed a few things. Witsit, I don't know. He didn't seem to have packed properly.
@@peronkop Witsit packed his salad 🥗
Love how a green screen can cast a nice sharp shadow like that, NOT.
9:50 "Oh look, pac-man earth, The sun went from the left Side to the right side in a flash. Flatearth confirmed!"
Something the flatearthers will say lol. Im obviously joking, i know its the 360 camera with all 360 degrees in one frame.
If anyone thinks this is a dome could you show me footage of a dome that would be big enough to cover the range they have walked to and from with full 360 coverage including the roof that could run for 24 hours long in Antarctica with no evidence of any studio?
how about how much fuel is needed for the generators? how much energy would be required to be in a studio that bright
The dome they used for this is around 36km in circumference and 2,000m tall. It contains 200,000,000 16K LED screens and is powered by 1,500,000,000 penguins on treadmills, working six hour shifts.
Wait, is that Pedro Pascal in the background? You can't fool me!
Nooo! Not Pedro Again! 😂
Can we get a version with a curved horizon?
To keep the sun and the tropic on the same level, and make the south pole one of the edges.
That one has a curved horizon. Didn’t notice?
@rafaelmarangoni It is not curved 20 degrees, with the sun at the same distance from the edge.
Gotcha! See, there ARE two suns!
LOL, I was going to say that too, right about the mid-point. I also saw the boots looking shifty. And what was with that camera pointing back over my head when the sun was still in frame on the left. ALL LIES !!
Can we get a version where the virtual camera is tilted down, with the shadows going away in front of the camera on one side and the sun behind the camera on the other side?
wait, no jumpscare at the end?
Kurt Russel got it with his flamethrower.
Haha this video is going to really confuse those looking at shadow directions 🥴
I still can’t get over how excellent the weather was.
Max bang for buck.
Yeah, they were incredibly lucky. Naturally, flerfs are claiming that it means it's all fake...
Proof of the 'Pac-Man' sun.
lol
Maybe that dubious Eric guy is onto somthing this looks totally fake real people don't walk so fast and look so robotic😢 too. It looks like some sort of stop animation claymation type movie. Yeah now l got you!.
He won't touch any of this. The method is to nitpick and only provide the snippets in order to make it look like that is all it is.
🥳🎉Happy New Year Rusty Dave & the McKeegan Family,
Also a 🥳🎉Happy New Year to Everyone Else watching...
Although after all TFE Experiments getting the GLOBE PREDICTED RESULTS I guess not so Happy for the Flerfs 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now we need a Gleason map with the north pole in the center (on the other side of the earth).
And make the camera rotate around the south pole.
Awesome! Take that flerfs.😂
They will, and they'll claim it's fake because, reasons.
What, you guys need proof of my reasons? Well Eric and Fkats says so.
Hey Jerry, we all know that rectangles are square and square is bad.
Seeing it like this is very unintuitive. Curved shadows will confuse people
Uthink will say this is fake for a bunch of reasons in the same way he’d claim people faking they know how to play chess because because they don’t take pieces by jumping over diagonally.
This is where the 24 hour sun in Arctica is in December:
South of the equatorial plane in space, with the equator on the earth still rotating from west to east 24 hours every day.
This is just going to trigger flat head's ignorance even more. Where is the footage from Dave's moving camera that is in the shot?
Your move Flerfs. Hit me with some stupid, I'm waiting.
It should be loads of stupid, because they don't know what equirectangular means.
Stupid knows no bottom. So, get your oven mitt ready, because the facepalm inducing responses are incoming.
@@MGCMorph shadows don’t bend.
@@phillipbireta9308 They're not bent. That's an artifact of the lenses used in a 360 degree camera. If you look, you'll see that everything is "bent" and that the closer an object is to the camera the more it "bends".
@@phillipbireta9308 Are you unaware of how a panoramic image works or are you quoting unironic flerf stupidity?
I don't see two suns at 9:50. There is two half suns.
And at 0:21 there are two half Dave McKeegan's! 😂
Can't wait to see the Flerfs "debuk" of this😂
This won’t confuse them I’m sure 😂
Note this model features a Pac-Man sun. Somebody get Ronnie & Jason.
I cant wait to see the flerfs trying to dissect this footage lolololo
McKeegan was all over the place like a worker ant...taking loads of pictures. Awesome..!
He really worked his arse off. What a champion.
I reckon 9:45 is about the point where flares start claiming it's fake because there aren't two suns in reality.
Now they'll claim fake because Pacman
i think that is where the stictching between cameras occurs - the group used two cameras, so the distortion should appear in each at the stitch points and be 45 deg apart
🥳🎉Happy New Year magical_catgirl,
Yeah they won't be able to work out why the Sun didn't "Disapear" behind the 360° Camera
Because a few people have claimed that this isn't really a 360° view, I have made a short video on my channel to find out if it is or not... th-cam.com/video/EgUHp-RT1O8/w-d-xo.html
Nice job! It's way too complicated for flerfs, though.
9:41 Flerfer: I knew it! TWO light sources... FAKE!!!! Flat Earth Wins again!
🤣😂when is part two! Reminds me of a Buster Keaton flick! Fantastic cinematography for the time!🤣😂
?
Not as wide as I envisioned from my comment on an earlier vid.
Still cool :)
Meh. Gerardus Mercator was dabbling with this kind of projection centuries ago. 😜
9:53 two suns confirmed
Damn, I was just going to point that out. We can clearly see the sun set to the left, while the second sun rises to the right. I am going to order a flerf hat 😀(to stop any confusion, I work with 360 photography)
Also at 2:09 teleportation confimerd !
If you slow the video you can clearly see that one men in a blue jacket went to the left and reappear on the right of the screen! unbelivable xD
0:21 two Daves confirmed! 😅
I didn't see any guns, Nathan.
Uthink (probably): 9:30 - this proves teleportation! globe debunked
Someone count how many times Dave looked at the sun tracking camera.
That's why he had to stay up for the full 24hrs, even though he hadn't had any sleep in the previous 18hrs. Because there wasn't any stars that he would normally use to set up the EQ Mount, meaning he had to do regular checks to ensure it was still aligned.
Cant stand idiot flerfs that try and make everything out to be a lie.
Great work, we will never see ANY flerf go out and do anything near this. Because they would prove
The Earth is not flat.
Lmao, Mikey smiths last out of focus video.
PS Rusty & Dave I am guessing this is going to make 🤯Flerf🤯Brain🤯Cells🤯Go🤯Off🤯Like🤯Popcorn🤯 trying to work out what is actually happening with the Sun & Rotating Camera following it.
I wonder how many flerfs will start to use this new word? This is going to show how stupid flerfs are, and they are going to try and explain how you can't have a shadow in both directions.
Missed opportunity! Instead of using an equirectangular projection of the 360 spherical view, Dave should have used the AE projection. May draw more flerfs into acknowledging that the footage isn't fake. 🇺🇳
Then put the sun in the center of the map, to show the map distortion.
With the north pole in the center and the sky around the south pole inside out?
Well, it would still be from right to left from the inside.
"The lens on that camera in the center obviously can't have captured this whole frame!"
Edit: Yeah I know that's a different camera. Watch GS' previous video about the stupidest comment he's heard.
That's the sun tracking camera
Tell us that you do not understand what 360º and Equirectangular, without telling us you don't know about 360º and Equirectangular. The one lens did capture the whole frame.
@@dougydoolittle5255 I think he was just quoting a flerf that made that inane statement on a flerf video. The flerf said basically, "That camera we see couldn't possibly have recorded this entire video" Like duh... that's a DIFFERENT camera. lol
Do you seriously think that the camera in the center is taking a photo of itself???🤦♀🤦♂🤦

Checkout @greatersapian video from 12/31. A flerf made this very claim.

I wanted to see the compass, the whole trip. And tracking devices. They will do it now, when they release i bet😂
Why a compass?? There's a giant mountain there that doesn't move
Oh, the flat earthers are going to go ape $#!+ over this.
