- Hello and welcome to our channel where today I'm making assorted fairy cakes in the Air Fryer. I'll do plain, sultana, white chocolate chip & jam coconut. However my mind isn't on what I'm doing, and things end up back to front!

My 8 year old granddaughter Heidi loves baking with her mum and she wanted to make cup cakes last week with me during the school holidays but I cheated and bought a box mix for chocolate cup cakes and they turned out great,another enjoyable video Maria,the cakes look great
It's lovely to hear of children who like to bake. I've never used a box mix, but they sound good. Despite making my fairy Cakes in a back to front way, they turned out nice and tasted lovely. Thank you for watching.

Hi Maria, they all look lovely. I used to do what you do and double the mixture up. I used to make plain, currant, coconut, chocolate and orange ones. I would use buttercream, melted chocolate, icing sugar made with a bit water and coconut on the top. Patisserie cream or carnation sterilised cream for different toppings. I think Dean likes to be your taste tester. I bought some silicone cases, i got small and large, they are handy as you can reuse them. That was a good idea putting them in the round tin to keep them together better. Happy belated birthday
It makes me hungry thinking about those different flavoured cakes! Yes Dean loves being my taste tester, unless it involves jam! I was looking at some silicone cases on Amazon, I don't know anyone who has them so I'm not sure if they're worth buying or not. Do they hold their shape? Thank you for my birthday wishes.
Yes they held their shape, i put them in like you did so they are supported on all sides. I kept 4 of the larger ones just for Yorkshire puddings. There's only two of us so they are an ideal size

I'd about ran out of sugar too, I forgot to get it this week. I'm not doing very well with my shopping lists! Lol.
That's ok Maria, it's the all in one method😃 the thing is Maria you are a relaxed cook some on you tube are so upright and try to be perfect but that is no fun is it. They came out lovely, I bet your mum made them on the weekend for Sunday teatime 😃if you put a glacé cherry on each jam coconut one and call them almost Manchester tart cakes😊
