You had so much fun! I would probably not make much sense. I have been one. Big light weight, I’m totally a cheap date. Well other than my tarot buying habits! lol. I get those decks in the Hay house quarterly boxes as well. I have been thinking about repurposing the decks I don’t like. I’m trying to gather up journaling prompts or favorite quotes to put on decks I don’t like. I’m too lazy to box them up and send them back. lol.
Exactly!! I actually cancelled the hay house box, because I was just getting too many decks I wasn't using and didn't know what to do with them. I like the idea of quotes or prompts, that sounds very cool. I am lazy too, but sometimes it is fun to do that kind of stuff, and then you end up loving what you created.
Hi Marlene. You are probably in the land of good mai tai's and maybe bad too. I left the recipe, this recipe is my favorite one. I think the Mai Tai is my favorite tiki drink. I missed the tiki festival this year for the first time and am kind of regretting it. Thanks for watching. Hope you are well.
Uh, yum. I never have a full bar, but I love a well made Mai Tai. Persephone's Garden is a really excellent one! Fortunately I am not swayed towards the oracles, but you do make me want things... I already have 7 decks coming, I just can't do El Goliath, maybe it will knock on my door another day. I did order Nameth Tarot and I am on the brink of getting Jupiter Power Tarot... it's all about the blues and greens, I'm a sucker for it!
HI Tamipie!! I love a great Mai Tai too!!! That is the first drink I order if I am seeing how a tiki bar makes drinks. I love to go to Hale Pele in Portland. We have a McMenamins tiki bar in Eugene that makes pretty good drinks and a newer tiki bar in Springfield that is pretty good now, but nothing like Hale Pele. I have a pretty full bar, so that I can make tiki drinks. I didn't used to but then we had some parties and I was the bartender. Mostly weddings and graduations that we had to do at home cause of Covid. I probably won't keep the Hayhouse box, I only got it to try and surprise myself but a lot of the oracles don't work for me. I am taking some to the thrift today. The second box really disappointed me. I am going to try the Ancient stones one though, I did like some of the cards and the art is kind of Daniel Noel style, which I still enjoy. The first box was good and had a small tarot so I liked it more. I did end up like one of the oracles from the third box so far..... Anyway, I am trying to try new things but it doesn't always work for me. The El Goliath is a pretty amazing deck. It is 40% off, which I have never seen and there is only 20 of them left. It is a pretty powerful deck. I really think you would like it, unless you just don't resonate with animal decks, but still.... I am totally in love with Jupiter Power and it is funny, thought I wouldn't want it but I love it. It was a huge surprise for me. I had all their other decks so I got it, thinking it was going to be kind of blah, but not at all. Biggest surprise deck of the year for me. It will probably stay in print for quite a while. The Nemeth will go out of print, I got an extra one too. Can't wait for the guidebook, as I am finding it a little hard to work with right now.
That is the trick right, get the decks that we KNOW will go oop, all others can wait for a lull. Yeah, Hay House is really hit and miss! I will definitely check out the Portland tiki bar!! 😘
@@tamipie I have been to so many tiki bars and Hale Pele is for sure one of the best in the world, no question. When I was in Europe, I made sure I went to the tiki bars I could find. There is a great one out in the outer district in Prague that has a great vibe. Hale Pele makes amazing drinks and their food is so good. It just has that perfect tiki bar feel, they have it nailed down!! I also love Trader Sam's at Disneyland hotel, but it is so hard to get into. I have gotten pretty good at making great tiki drinks at home though.
Fun new series! I just got Tarot of Persephone’s Garden too. I am liking it.
It is really well done. I am pretty impressed with the quality and the images. I am so in love with the backs too.Thank you for watching. 💖
All of your cards are just beautiful. Truly enjoyed watching this video. Thank you!
Thank you Zoey!! Thanks for watching 💝.
