I would like to join NIFT, but some people currently studying there are advising others not to come and to look for other colleges, also saying after college you wont even get a job. Any advice what should i do?
It’s worth to join if you’re truly passionate about Design. A lot of people join for many other reasons and it doesn’t work for them. Apart from NID and NIFT, I don’t think there is any other good design school in India.

When people mention that it’s expensive, are they referring to the fees of around 14 lakhs, or are there additional costs we need to consider? I’m asking because I plan to take an education loan for the fees, and my only financial support is from my brother. I don't want to keep asking him for money once I start college. If there are any additional costs beyond the fees, please let me know so I can discuss them with him in advance. i hope you can understand what i am asking
Depends on your skills but mostly 3-4 years, with average or above average skills, basically when you become a senior in industry. By good I mean better paying job.
I don't have a very clear idea, but I worked with two NIFT Patna students during my internship, and they were talented. I'd suggest you do all your internships in places where there is a scope for jobs or in areas you’re interested in. It’ll help you have a wider perspective. Good luck 👍😊

Can u tell me about what are the cultural groups or clubs at nift? Like are their dance , music , volleyball clubs etc?
Yeah, In my college, there were cultural, literature, and other groups.
These included sports, music, dance, theatre, poetry, etc.

I don’t have a lot of information about bftech except that in my batch they got placed better than design students.
