Yeah for some reason I can't see the reply, but I assume Nightshift has been referenced. That is indeed the inspiration for the weld lines and the tamiya putty texture.
@@ScratchBashing I confirm that this was the channel that was mentionned (somehow the comment was deleted...). By the way, great job as usual with the build!
It's honestly fucking mental how one second I'm looking at you pulling out a bit of scrap here and some trash there, and next second you've built a whole goddamn tank
Night Shift has no idea he was name dropped twice in this video because he won't ever see it. He probably watches very serious stuff about grown up tanks. Which is as it should be.
It's not even the first time his inspiration has been featured! I would love to see him do a sci fi project. Ork tank would be dream. Just imagine the cast steel textures?! 😄
@@ScratchBashing Lol, I always imagine him saying "okay, well people keep suggesting I do something called a Rhino from something called Warhammer. So here goes. Hey, wait a minute! This thing is made from four pieces! Is this a joke?!". Love your videos, btw. Amazing work, pacey editing, funny script. Always a joy to watch.
fuck yeah. I "looted" a truck in the 90s, man conversions were the funnest bit of the whole thing. You know I actually have a conversion sitting around waiting to be done since then. Guess I could do that maybe as a little present to myself.
I'm not a huge W40k guy, but I love the concept of Orks stuff vs. the other races with people making, designing, and painting their stuff. "Oh no, I messed up the model!" vs. "Dang, I scratched it. BATTLE DAMAGE!"
One of my favourite things about Ork tech is that you can see the thought process behind each and every component(more or less), it's great what they can make with hard work, determination and a dash of magic mumbo jumbo.
I thin you're my favorite miniature builder, you have so much originality and style with what you achieve! Love the content, keep it up and have a nice day!
Super happy for you to be getting stuff like this. Your builds are fantastic and you deserve this and more support and recognition. Looking forward to what the future brings for you to loot.
This video got me to make my favorite model I’ve ever done, a Deff Dredd made from an Imperial Guard Armored Sentinel that was broken in transportation. Thank you so much for this video, it’s truly inspirational.
Awesome BUILD !!! And despite what you say about painting, your technique is AWESOME as well for Ork Looted Vehicles (and IMHO all ork vehicles should look looted) .
Sooo about that rubber garden wire not holding paint, i had the same problem with getting paint to stick to an aluminum can and i found out that hair spray can help out with these issues. I picked up a random super mega strong hairspray and it worked wonders as a cheap primer for weird surfaces
thats really clever ill have to give it a go hair spray is water soluble so make sure you varnish everything after, people literally use hairspray for chipping effects lol
@@Nillerus that's awesome haha, glad it helped! I initially noticed it worked like this when trying to figure out how to lock my diorama details in place without getting it all soaked (which actually worked decently too!) some overspray got on my new can and it got coarse and grippy on one side and sure enough that held paint with ease. The other poster has a good point with it being water soluble though, definitely lock the entire job down with some varnish at the end
@@mrflapjacklover That's also a very clever use of hairspray, thanks for that tip! Also very good to know to lock it in with a varnish at the end, i didn't consider that it's water soluble

I've been watching for awhile now and your presentation has improved so much. You create really entertaining and creatively inspiring videos. Keep up the good work!
i feel like you could singlehandedly deal with plastic waste by making models. looks amazing, and was cool to watch you throw all this random stuff together to make a literal piece of art
The Ork Lore you showed for a second at 7:06 (please correct me if I'm wrong, I was correct by another 40k enthusiast online) is the "old" lore. Latent Ork Psychic power/presence only helps existing machinery work, there has to be something there. No engine in a car means it will not work, no matter how much "dakka" there is or spammed. (This is a very large oversimplification) But I strictly adhere to old lore so no biggie for me.
I stumbled upon your Necromunda terrain videos, and your channel has quickly become my absolute favourite. Thanks for the amazing content, can't wait to see what you're up to next!
well its the orks "if they believe anything worked, it works even if its a bunch of metal on 4 wheels" edit: i like how the tank is red since red makes anything go faster
It's been a while, SB! I won't "wen" you, but I am looking forward to more titan build videos. This tank is awesome, by the way. I'm also impressed that your proprietary product line keeps expanding so rapidly. ;-] God bless!

I loved this so much, the perfect energy, great voice over and on top of it all an amazing "liberated" tank!
We used random bits to make exhaust pipes, so we could use exhaust pipe bits to make shoota barrels. Brilliant!
It is what it is
Thinking quickly, scratch basing constructed a tank out of random bitz, exhaust pipes, hobbying material, and a tank.
