Danny seems like a guy who has Vietnam flashbacks
dudes broken almost all his bones in his body including his neck. He has had so many knee surgeries he stays awake during them to make sure the doctor isn't scamming him.

Skateboarding need more people like this who just speak what's on their mind instead of just acting all hyped on everything.
I feel you but at the same time I understand why everyone does that-act like they're huge fans of everyone and everything everyone does at all times...it's to avoid any beef and keep a good attitude so people within the industry will have a good attitude back towards them. Talking shit in the skate world when you're within the industry can bite them in the ass down the road. However with people like Danny, I mean, he's a legend and everyone can basically just kiss his ass. lol
I think Skateline NBD does a really good job in this.

The first skate video I ever saw was the DC video and he was jumping off that huge megaramp Danny Way is the shit! He will always be the man!!!
Legend. Met him and Colin a long ass time ago at the sports and music festival 3D when he jumped out of a helicopter into a half pipe on top of the hard rock hotel in vegas. Rode up in an elevator with them and Colin later gave me the deck he was riding. Danny was telling us how he 'tweaked' his shoulder really bad right before the thing started. He still went out and did it a bunch of times. Such a sick day.
