Cyberpunk 2077 is an action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt. The story takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customisable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat.
Mafia II is a 2010 action-adventure game developed by 2K Czech and published by 2K Games. It was released in August for PlayStation 3, Windows, and Xbox 360.[1][2] The game is a standalone sequel to 2002's Mafia,[3] and the second installment in the Mafia series. Set within the fictional city of Empire Bay from 1945 to 1951, the story follows Vito Scaletta, a young Sicillian-American mobster and war veteran, who becomes caught in a power struggle among the city's Mafia crime families while attempting to pay back his father's debts and secure a better lifestyle alongside his best friend.
The game is played from a third-person perspective and its world is navigated on-foot or by vehicle. The player character's criminal activities may incite a response from law enforcement agencies, measured by a "wanted" system that governs the aggression of their response. Development began in 2003, soon after the release of the first Mafia game. At release, Mafia II received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise particularly directed at its story, characters, and gameplay; however, the restrictive world design and lack of certain features present in other sandbox games was criticized.
A version of the game including all previously released downloadable content, entitled Mafia II: Director's Cut, was released by Feral Interactive in December 2011.[4] A sequel, Mafia III, developed by Hangar 13, was released in October 2016. To coincide with the remake of the first game of the series, Mafia II: Definitive Edition, a remastered version of the game developed by D3T, was released by 2K Games on 19 May 2020. It received mixed reviews, particularly for its bugs and glitches, most of which were not present in the original version of Mafia II.[5] This Definitive Edition was later bundled in the Mafia: Trilogy pack, released on 25 September 2020.

@@thegamingprozone1941 play KCD. Vavra was in charge of mafia 1 and most of 2 (not the ending and some parts they cut that would have made the game even more amazing and mafia 3 has nothing to do with him anymore because he left 2k to make KCD).

Such a classic! Everything about this game feels just right. From the amount of attention to detail from the creators to the fantastic music that’s added, in game and in menus. Loved playing every second of it years ago, and can’t even remember the amount of times I played it again. Pure nostalgic feelings here.
My problem with it is it has too many glitches i had to reset many times

I have a friend who showed me "Return to me" scene from this game. After a while of us singing it together for several nights I decided to get all the games and play them. And oh boy what a amazing franchise. Stories, characters, gameplay and settings. Seriously true masterpieces. As soon as I finished them I wanted to replay them.

Mafia 2 had a lot of cut content, but it still was great. The atmosphere, storytelling was on point. The gameplay is decent enough to keep players engaging. Best mafia game in the series.
This game was so versatile. It had prison gameplay, war gameplay, and open world gameplay
Vito and Joe are my all time favorite video game duo in any video game I've ever played. The chemistry between these two guys is still one of the best I've ever seen. Such a perfect balance being natural, comedic and serious. The second being favorite duo being Niko and Roman from GTA 4.

Fun fact: Don Carlo was actually a real mob boss in Italy at the time of war and did indeed stop some Italians from firing on American soldiers. Apparently he was quite mad though.
Every minute Jayvee is exposed to Mafia 2, the more intense the Italian-American accent becomes. I can confirm that this is not an uncommon response for most players.

I don't know if you know, but around 7:40 when you say you're impressed with the way NPC's interact with the environment, well there's that broken down car and the couple arguing, if you hang around long enough the gent will walk away, and you can help the lady fix the car, I can't remember if you get anything from it, but I just love the small details in this game, helping NPC's, getting a cola out of the fridge, eating at a diner, having to get petrol! Fucking love this game.

When the game hits spring and you see all the new fancy cars and the weather is warm the game really takes a place in your heart. I was a very impatient kid who always skipped game cutscenes but Mafia 2 had me watching all of them. Only game to leave me slackjawed at the end
I literally just played these games (definitive edition) for the first time in my 28 years on this planet and I got to say I absolutely love this title compared to the first one. just like you said, the city just feels so alive. its very immersing.
No matter how many times I replay this game, it never gets old. Btw, the definitive edition ain't bad, it just doesn't give too much improvement.

The pinup magazines are unironically one of my favorite collectibles in any game.
All unique, not just Coin #44 or something, they have innate value, they are fully integrated into the world, they are easy to see if you're looking but easy to miss if you aren't, and there are just a perfect number of them
One of the best games and stories in games of all time.
Also, even though it's linear and not really open world as much as Rockstar games are, at least the missions are less rigid. For example, when you struggled with the alarm when robbing the safe, you could also take another approach and simply disable the alarm in the building's basement.
This was actually what I missed from Mafia DE, even though it's been an incredible remake, it removed some of the prep work required for each mission - especially the boat assasination.
This game is the reason I'm proud to be Czech

I just played this a month ago for the first time! Mafia 1 was great but I enjoyed Mafia 2 so much. I got about half way through Mafia 3 before Saints Row came out. 💜
it's one of the games that made me say, I want to make games. now i am studying to become a 3d artist. Mafia 2 is a must and it has nothing to envy to movies about the mafia like the godfather.
I love that people love this little czech mafia game of ours, still a shame half of the story and mechanics were cut out, just the beginning war mission was supposed to be a whole chapter of it's own
This game literally turned me into a mob movie addict... I started watching every gangster movie from the 90s , 80s and 70s after playing Mafia 2... I also started following Michael Francheze and listening to his stories... I got pretty obsessed with movies like Goodfellas, Casino, Scarface and Godfather among many others

honestly i love this game i played the demo first and the stuff you could interact with made me fall in love with the game like how you could open the fridge eat and drink the food that was in there rob the stores etc such etc this is a masterpiece game

One of the best games I've ever played. AC 2 and brother hood, halo 2 and 3, GTA San Andreas are my personal favorites growing up but games like this one always snuck in there somewhere when I was gaming.

What I love about this game is how much loyalty there was between Joe and Veto, I don’t know if it’s Canon but is Joe alive in mafia 3, it’s just Veto never knows
This a yearly game for me, I love playing it around Christmas time.
So I showed up late to the Mafia party, I played the first one when the definitive edition was made for it and I tried Mafia 2 and since it feels so different it’s hard for me to get used to it but after watching this video I will for sure give it the time it deserves as well as Mafia 3
I implore you to give Mafia III another shot. I know people shit on that game but looking at it now, with all the garbage uninspired games we’ve gotten recently, it looks like a masterpiece. Incredibly well written and well acted characters that all feel real, a mature story that doesn’t hold your hand or patronize you, fantastic vehicle physics that make driving a mundane delivery truck fun, incredibly responsive combat and gun play, etc.
It gets shit on for being repetitive but those same people jump on Call of Duty and play the same maps with the same guns all day. So if you enjoy the task you’re repeating, it’s a non-issue. Plus, it’s only the mechanic of “cause enough damage to racket” that is repetitive. Everything else is fantastic. I love it.

The Mafia series is one of the best in gaming IMO. I can't speak for 3 but the first (especially the remake) and 2 are a couple of the best games I've ever played. I just love the world and time periods. Really hoping the fourth follows 1 and 2 more than the third.

i never played mafia growing up cause i thought it was like a game i didnt like, but when it was free with gold i ended up really enjoying the game
I love this game. Something apart from its content that I'll always remember is just how much it could tank your performance if you cranked up the physics in the settings. It'd look damn sweet especially during gunfights, tho.

Oh the memories, the fight at 6:07 were a game breaker when it came. It would crash there everytime and you'd had to wait for a patch to continue lol.
27:38 actually there was something you could do, you can deactivate the alarm. Though it's down in the basement lol, was something I figured back when the game came out but yh, I get why most hadn't. It does reward you with more money for the job too.
You can turn off the alarm in the gas stamp mission. The fuse for it is in the basement.
Love this game, it's a classic, pretty funny since Vito looks like my great grandfather Lorenzo who was also from Sicily.

I am currently replaying Mafia 3 on Ps5 and I'm loving it so far! It is different but I'm having fun with it. They don't make games that often in that setting and its cool as hell! Almost feels like a Tarantinoesque film at times
jesus although im "old" and mafia 2 is one of my all time favourite games, i never played it in english. when you bilingual (ger) and you play a game a second time like 10-15 yrs later, in its native language, the voice over is like night and day! like the italian accent and the atmosphere makes it a totally new/different experience. i have to give it a try tho. and man thats funny, 😂joe kinda sounds like joey diaz and after hearing him talk i cannot not think about diaz, even had to look up who did joes voice.

So that gas stamps mission, you gotta go to the basement and disable the alarm system. Then go the director's room and steal the stamps from the safe. No alarm. Then sneak out the way you came in. You get paid in full + an achievement
How did i never know u could just honk the horn to interact with the gas station guy at the gas stamp mission lol, I always got out of my vehicle and kicked the door in and got into the store

I completed this game in all the difficulty about 6 years ago. Also collecting those magazines was so fun even though I was underaged lmao. The story of this game was go great.
It's defintely due to the era those games were released in as well but few games give me more nostalgia than Assassin's Creed 2, Mafia 2 and Uncharted 2. Fall 2009 till fall 2010 was insane in terms of game releases.
Every day I pray the remake The Godfather game. That was the ultimate mafia game.

Mafia 2 didn’t get a remaster like Mafia 1 did, it was just a Definitive Edition so the graphics got a bit of an upgrade and some things got tweaked. I like because you’re able to get the Made Man content for Xbox finally and the graphics, while they were already great, got better. I really wish it was a remaster though
10 bucks for loading those crates is equivalent to 180 bucks today. That’s pretty good money for loading one batch of crates!
