THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A PROPERLY BASS TONE FOR METAL I actually hate 99% of bass players in Modern Metal because they only plugged into a cranked amp and nothing more. This sounds aggressive but still controlled, precised, with dynamic don't add noise and a lot of low end destroying the mix. Mixed with your enjoyable playing makes me want to pick the bass again. Amazing job my buddy, keep kicking ass!!!!

I'm talking about most of those Djent/Deathcore/Metalcore bass players out there. Sure, Nolly and Danny Hauser are outstanding bass players in Modern Metal game but they're exceptions, the rest sounds like guitar players in the band designed their tones (Even most of them are actually guitar players lmao). All i hear is cranked midrange with parallel clean tone without mids and compressed AF, even Darkglass owners try to replicate that awful and sterile tone i fucking hate. I have no issue with using a pick but c'mon dude, bass are more than just low tuned "One note" guitars (And most of the scene act like that).
The camera changes and the visual effect that the camera shows from the back of the bass are very similar to the actual video for Before i Forget... Cool ❤️
