i wasn’t even surprise that jimin was crying so hard cause he did mention in one of his logs from 2018(a year before this concert) that young forever was the one song that got him through so much. jk was crying till the last song I think mikrokosmos and hobi had to pull him up cause he was sobbing lol

Ah I'll never stop crying about the Wembley surprise 😭 Especially Jungkook's and Jimin's reactions kill me :( Jimin adressed how this song helped him through hard time, I can't even imagine how much this song must mean to them. As a fan you just never get the full story behind something, but it's obvious that Young Forever holds a lot of meaning to them.
The song and MV are very short and i feel like even among Armys it's a very underrated song, or was until it was sung at Wembley. I just love when the boys put out songs that are so personal, when they just genuinely pour their hearts out in a song, it makes me feel even more connected and close to them 💜
Ah this always wrecks my soul... Young forever signified a lot in bts' career... when they truly started gaining traction,, while going through so many hardships.. that was 5 years ago.. and then in 2018, when they shared with us their hardships and how they were considering disbanding,, later at a vlog, jimin said he found an old video of young forever on youtube, and cried so hard watching it that day, and it was a catalyst for him to move forward from that headspace and made him remember what he loved in the first place. So in 2019, this "nobodies" group became the first and only asian singers that were able to sell out 2 nights at europe's most renown stadium.. and armys had sang this very song that held so much weight to them, at a foreign stadium packed with 90000 people.. a 5 year old song.. that signified their roots, their growth, and their liberation from their hardships.. this truly left a mark.. it was beautiful. (along with korean armys singing 2!3! with purple bags over their armybombs, showing bts their support, after they received a black ocean at an awards show, where taehyung created "i purple you" phrase on the spot, this is the second army singing for bts moment that will forever be in the minds of both bts and us..a magical moment..)

Every single time I watch the Wembley video I cry. Being there that night was incredibly special and I will never forget it, one of my most treasured memories. It was that defining moment when I realised I’m in this bangtan business for life 💜💜

I’m glad you watched a fancam with them speaking afterwards. My favourite fancam is where you can see them on stage with the screens at the back the whole way through. I like it because there’s a few moments you don’t see when they only focus on one at a time, but I can’t remember which video it is. Thus was day 2 of Wembley. Like some of the others I was there too, got teary but managed not to cry somehow. Kookie was determined not to cry this time because he cried a few times at the London concert for the last tour on day 1 because of injuring his heel and not being able to dance. I was there for that one too and felt so bad for him. As he’s my bias (and to be honest even if he wasn’t) I’m glad he got to show his dancing and feel like he did a good job for ARMY this time around (though he was still amazing last time)!

I remember Jimin’s vlog where he talked about dark times he and other members were going through in 2018, the year when they were doing so bad mentally that they thought about disbanding and jimin said he felt like he can’t go to talk about his problems because other members where going through same and he felt so pressured but then he watched video ARMYs singing young forever before and he thought it was so beautiful and it was healing for him and felt like he should keep going like in lyrics “Even when I fall and hurt myself I endlessly run toward my dream” so he decided to talk with members and continue being BTS

I saw videos of that!! And it was amaaaaazing. She had to fly there just for the show and fly right back because she had her own events in the UK she had to run to. The super cute tiktok of the 8 of them was from right before that concert. Plus, she said some super nice things in French to the ARMYs there... it was really special! You're so lucky you got to see it!! 💜

I think the chain link fence maze is so poignant and heartbreaking. They can see their happiness (each other) but can't reach it until they find their own way out. I don't know why, but the use of the chain link makes the entire thing that much more heartwrenching.
In case no one told you, Young Forever was the first song Namjoon _both_ wrote for and _produced_ in BTS.

I remember I was watching the live stream when this happened and if anyone wouldve walked on me I wouldve looked like a crazy person. I was crying so hard at my phone I could not see the screen. I havent watched the full video of it again until now and I cried again. These boys just fill my heart so much.

The song and message behind this song hold a special meaning for them. Behind the curtain, they each struggle with different things. They are able to let their emotions speak to people and not let criticism get in the way of their bond.

Hello Anitra and Caitlyn! Thank you for another reaction, I really enjoyed it. I saw the Wembley concert a while ago and just like in every other concert where they play a significant song that really touches their hearts, I was touched as well by them when facing Army singing along or singing for them. That's when they can see how much their music trascends language barriers and cultural differences and that's what it's so especial, even more knowing their background and what seemed to be just a big dream a couple of years ago... they never thought they could ever achieve this much and so their tremendous success keeps on surprising them every day but also, that's what keeps them humble and very much together. Having gone throught so much during their first years is what bond them together and bond them to their company as well. Anyways, I love to see how people react to them and their true feelings that they cannot help but show them to their fans, wearing their harts on their sleeves and trying to keep composture at the same time... they pretty much still like little kids that are amazed about the world that surrounds them and that's what's precious to us Army and everyone that actually takes the time to get to know them. there's no one that isn't confused by this storyline and to be honest bighit could literally lay it out right in front of us and we'd still be confused as hell. young forever is such an emotional and beautiful song and it's impossible to not cry watching their reaction to the project i cry every single time i see it. you can just feel how much this means to them.

well I think Caitlyn nailed it....what so many ppl love about BTS is that they are not afraid to show themselves and their true feelings/reactions. They show us that they are real ppl with real feelings and they allow us to see them being themselves so we feel like we know them in a way. Ofc they are so talented and handsome, which certainly doesn't hurt, but it's the honest, genuine connection to the fans that makes them stand out imo. Ironically this is also what makes a great reaction channel, nothing better than seeing a genuine, honest, & appreciative reaction ;)
I have a hard time thinking about a future without BTS, they really help get me through some rough times. I want them to keep making music forever lol~ however, I also want them to be happy and be able to do other things, whatever THEY want to do. I will be happy if they are, no matter what path they choose. I'd love to see them in love and happy, and as parents one day, if that's what they want. I will always have videos to watch, so it won't be the same but I'll survive :)

Crying hours open 😭 I watched that concert on a live stream and really tried holding it together, but seeing Hobi tear up made me tear up too 🥺 Jimin said this song means alot to him and got him through so much, especially during the time when they were thinking about disbanding. In a vlive he said that he was watching some of their older content one night and came across a video of them performing Young Forever, which showed ARMYs singing the song.. He said it made him realize that "this is the reason. Even if I'm not sure of some things, this is the reason". The song is also on his current spotify playlist 💜
Young forever is one of my favorite songs! From the moment I heard it for the first time it has been in my top 5 of BTS songs I couldn't live without and that day at Wembley made it even more significant.
You should watch Mikrokosmos from the same concert. It was directly after this moment. So many feels 😭

The fact that they wrote Young Forever in 2015... Like they thought of "one day it'll be over, we're not young forever" just in 2015.... 2 years after their debut and 5 years ago...
And like I got the impression that since 2017 , they do always medley, remix of their old songs on Award show and even with their new music they always reference their old music. It's like they always think each year they're reaching their peak and that they will lost popularity. But they are thriving even more each time.
I really got the impression that they enjoy at the fullest every moment and they are scared that all of that will suddenly disappear...
But they are flying always higher each time... They're coming with better music and better performances each time and their popularity never went down...
