Now that some time has passed, has your peel and stick shiplap stayed put? I tried two different brands. Mine did not and was disappointing. I finally had to take it off.
Great vid! I work in service for an RV dealership in Washington state. I’m about to get my first trailer- a 19ft Cherokee 😊 yours turned out awesome. One tip- WD-40 removes all the water from metal, but leaves it dry. Use a silicone based lubricant for your stabilizer jacks and other metal parts for longer lasting operation!
😊 almost honestly say I love it I love the video. I love the spirit of you too and the fact that you guys are okay with admitting this is your first time you don't know much and you looking for help!! I myself been looking through TH-cam about a whole month because I have to go pick up my 27-ft trailer and I have never pulled it or lived in it I actually purchased it for a family member who was staying in it for like 4 years. Now I'm retired military I got to go get it drive it a thousand miles back and very nervous and I want to remodel it to update it.!! Great video Thank you❤
Thank you for the kind comment! Also thank you for your service! I hope your remodel goes good. Its a lot of work but I think you will learn a lot like we did and be proud at the end. Thanks for watching!
@@JuanCamacho21 Yes. I'm just trying to search how to change the seat covers or do I have to go and pull everything out just to do it. I seen you all material and it looks beautiful and I want to use something like that but I'm like gosh do I got to take it to someone to get them to do it
We (almost) completely renovated our 1988 Prowler. We will paint the outside this summer and the tub/shower. We keep it on a seasonal site but we want a smaller, lighter one to travel with. Good call on not removing the wallpaper before painting. It’s a waste of time and it’s extremely difficult to remove. Unless it’s already peeling, just paint over it and enjoy the texture it leaves behind.
Your video is very inspirin. I recently bought a land with a camper on it, it is very old and run down, haven't been used for 15 years. I am gonna start with waterproofing, then check water and electric lines, remodeling comes after. Very excited.
The problem with painting over glass and fake, varnished wood is that the paint scrapes off very easily. If you don't acid wash those fake wood panels first, it looks like trash in a year.
Watching your video love the ideas. I am wondering how did the painting on wallpaper hold up after 2yrs? Might be fun seeing a video of what worked and didn't work
Have you tried holding the nozzle on the W-D 40 can under very hot water? Sometimes that works for me! Worth a try instead of wasting it :) Really enjoyed your video. I was just given a 1990 Ford 27 ft. Mallard from friends and I am new to all of this. She needs updating for sure! Thank you for all of your tips and reno idea's! Happy Camping!
Good luck running the ac and lights with that adapter, mine melted, I had to wire in a 30amp breaker and run thick gauge barrel wire and install an outdoor box like youd find at a camp ground. Be safe and nice work otherwise!
Did your peel and stick stay on the wall I did my whole kitchen… And then I’ll just kept falling off piece by piece I don’t know how this video is oh I see it’s a year old so you should be able to tell me if it stayed on or not… LOL

What was the cost from start to finish on the renovation?
Love your style! Beautiful transformation.
Thanks for watching!
Always fun doing these kinda projects. I'm currently in process of rebuilding a 1979 Dodge Swinger RV. Enjoy it guys great job 👍
Nice! Have fun on your rebuild. Thanks for watching.

You have a beautiful family! Love the style!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for the links. I've never seen the Camco step brace before and it's just been added to my Amazon cart! Great job on the trailer!
Awesome! Thank you!
Very crafty video I can't wait to start on our RV as well
Great job ! Very inspirational
Glad you enjoyed it!
Peel and stuck wall paper is the worst because it shrinks in winter and expands in summer. Even will peel away if it get hot enough inside your RV.
Just found your channel. Very cool and informative! I’m in the process of restoring a ‘74 (I think) Forrester Panther. Teach me! Cant wait!
Thanks for watching and commenting!
wait a second, this is wholesome content!
Wow great work
Thanks for watching
What camper is this? I love the floor plan. I think! You didn’t show the master. Year make and model please
Gorgeous!
Thank you! Cheers!
Hell of a lot of work for 5 Weeks. Nice.
Thanks for noticing. It was a fun project. Thanks for watching
We have the exact same camper just different lay out
Nice! Enjoy

Awesome job!!!.... How did you mount that TV with such thin rv walls???
I made sure that I screwed the tv mounts into studs on the walls.

Great idea! I will try that on the can next time it happens. Thanks for watching the video and commenting.
So pretty
Thanks!
Nice job
Thank you! Cheers!
Did you guys prep or sand the wood in the kitchen at all before painting? I plan on renovating a similar camper
No I didn’t sand at all. I just painted over it. I know some suggest it but I didn’t and the paint still adhered to the doors and panels.
How did you reupholstery the diner cushions
We did it with fabric glue and some cheap fabric from Walmart.
Did you paint right over the wallpaper or did you peel it off… Sorry I couldn’t tail great job guys
We painted right over it. You can't even tell we did. Less work than taking it off.
Hope the roof is good
The refrigerator looks different did you paint it or is that a new refrigerator?
I painted the door on the refrigerator.
I like the dog.
Good luck running the ac and lights with that adapter, mine melted, I had to wire in a 30amp breaker and run thick gauge barrel wire and install an outdoor box like youd find at a camp ground. Be safe and nice work otherwise!
What the bed room looks like
We didn't remodel the bedroom. That was going to be phase 2
Most don’t speak on pricing of used campers.
What year of a trailer was that that you remodeled ?
I think it was a 1998
Have you sold this we are looking at buying a older camper to renovate but like what you did with this one
Thanks for watching! I did sell it but am looking to buy another one to redo.
I want to put vinyl floor tile on my shower walls. What do you think?
Hmm I wonder if the steam from the hot shower might make the tiles come off.
@@JuanCamacho21 I’ve got a small shower. I don’t think I’ll take super long showers. We’ll see.
Please let us know if you are interested in selling the camper 🙂. Great job.
Thanks for watching. I already sold it.
How did you remove the boarders on the walls? Was it with steam or something else. I just starting the process of remodeling my trailer.
I used a steamer to get them off.
If you don’t mind me asking, how much profit did you make
i want to know too
15 Amp is not enough to run the AC
What stain did you use on the wood
I linked the stain in the description. That should help point you in the direction for all of these upgrades and changes.
Great job! But could do without music headache it’s awful!!!
I agree! I don't use music in my videos anymore. Sorry about that.
Did your peel and stick stay on the wall I did my whole kitchen… And then I’ll just kept falling off piece by piece I don’t know how this video is oh I see it’s a year old so you should be able to tell me if it stayed on or not… LOL
I had a couple that started to peel off because of the heat. Most of them stayed on though.
Does anyone know what type of model this camper is?
Why would you paint over glass?
Why not? It worked and its holding up well.
Your ideas are great, but the obnoxious really extra loud music kills it to continue.
Sorry about that. I have learned since then and don't use much music in my videos anymore.
getting rid of those handles was tragic.
How much are yall asking for it
Thanks for asking but we already sold it.
Is there a person a,I’ve who does t dream to travel a coast for the Summer months in one of these?
It's that season where people start dreaming of doing that.
Anyone else tired of seeing that rabbit commercial? Lol
Omg No, those are not levelers they are stabilizers they are NOT ment to take weight
That peel and stick is garbage
how much was it sold for?
Typo my bad but Don’t plug it into the dryer plug they look the same but their not you’ll fry your rv electric 30 amp rv is 120 a dry plug is 240
Very crafty video I can't wait to start on our RV as well
