Haven’t played cod since Saturday cause the servers are unbearable. How unbelievably sad it is that this billion dollar company can’t provide stable, reliable servers for their player base.

Im at work so I can't watch now, but do others also have the problem, that when your backpack is full and you want to swap an item from the ground with an item in your backpack, that this is not possible? There is a moment with lag and the screen briefly darkens a bit and then the game refuses to swap the items. This has been with me since the last update.
i be having that problem too. if my backpack is full and i try to pick something up to swap out , it glitch n kick me out my backpack. i gotta drop something out my backpack then pick up whatever loot im tryna grab
Drop the item the item you tried to pick up will switch itself. I think you could even abuse this glitch to say hold plates and then drop them and itll put whatever you tried to put in there at a later time. But it shouldn't be a thing
All you TH-cam/streaming peeps should get together and pick a day for a strike where no one plays COD for a day then pass it along to all your communities to get us players on the same page and strike playing the game for a day to bring attention to the server issues. We have done it on other games for devs being this way and it has worked.
I’d be down but some are severely addicted to cod. Ideally if we could do a week long strike of not playing ,buying any bundles or preordering they’ll fix everything I promise

I had to uninstall today because of exactly what you just said. FREEZES for many seconds if you have full inventory and try to "swap" anything. TOTALLY FROZEN SCREEN FOR MULTIPLE SECONDS. EVERY TIME. Broken piece of garbage game.
Whenever i pick something up, my screen gets dark for 2 seconds. Also when i open up my backpack after this update. I’m on ps5 and my friends also have this issue…
Lol last night... finally having a solid game. 4 team left and we rotate early to zone. Game starts lagging HARD. Next thing ya know, we all crash out to game menu. Perfect. Got right off after that waste of time.
Brother... I played ten games last night, and saw 14 cheaters, not like "oh he might be hacking." No, the rage hacking, mcw6.8 100% headshots at 300 meters with iron sights types of losers. In all my years, I've never seen anything this bad. Tbh this makes the game unplayable. Oh and what's you think of the razorback? I see it in thumby lol.
Is it possible to sue Activision over their lack of support for their servers ? Technically we pay for their game in one capacity or the other to be getting dogshit performance regularly

I have all my specs on screen while I play and the servers are just so trash that I get killed because it lags so bad my character freezes... I have experienced it in the past, but never this bad.. this absolutely ruined the fun, every game was just, playable, for 20 seconds then huge freeze... Again and again.. I really hope they fix the servers or get new ones, because I'm on PC, and there are a lot of other games I could play. Frankly I grew up and have so many memories with COD, I love the games. Most of the older ones at least. But I still give every new one a chance , because I want the best for the game. But these server issues, it's literally ruining the game.. especially if I can't play it ..
Last night for me was atrocious! It reminded me of the ole lag switch hack. I’d be moving, screen starts clipping and then full blown frozen in time. I can still hear others clearly moving around and playing but I’m stuck. Then ironically while unable to do anything… get obliterated by another player that magically is having a seamless no issue experience.
The biggest problem im having is my character’s actions are fast ( not actually just visually but also my teammates see them being fast ? ) and im putting 5 plates on instead of 3 ! Shiz is crazy
I agree Zak…. It’s spoiling the game… and as you’ve said already, the COD franchise is MASSIVE and ‘simple’ things like having servers that work ALL of the time in all modes and across all platforms should be a given!!! Let’s hope the Dev’s sort it VERY VERY soon???👍👍

Had to stop playing ranked resurgance because i was loosing sr due to major lags spikes and im on xbox and im thinking about quiting cod cause it dont make since a big company to not fix the major things but fix the smallest stuff
Adding a comment for the algorithm. Came back to add: let's say the servers we play on are the same as the servers from 2020 WZ1 era when servers seemed to perform better than the current era. How much of the game design causes those issues? Is there too much data going back and forth between the client side and server side now? Can they get rid of a bunch of the useless features and in-game elements which are adding to the performance degradation? It seems to me that simplification and performance would be a higher priority for the players than, for example, numerous meaningless and repetitive challenges with screen cluttering DNA strands. I'm not playing COD to collect stupid charms all over the map and if their data says that sort of thing increases engagement, then I'd like them to redirect their attention to improve gameplay which has a better long term engagement benefit; a game that actually works.
Yep, everyone I run with are on ps5 to include myself and we all 3 had the exact same issue of being stuck or frozen completely but yet you can hear everyone else still fully playing. To the point I was stuck and got obliterated by someone with zero issues.
I usually get lucky with the servers, I have a 1gb connection and usually find games with 9 - 25ms but today I actually saw it spike to 100ms and sustained that for a few mins so I can just imagine for other folks in other regions
It's crazy...My game has been running this bad for months to the point where I don't even play it anymore. I get on and try and can't even make it through one game. It's not my connection because every other game on my PC runs flawlessly. They only seem to care about the store bundles. It's sad.

I haven’t touched the game since season 4 reloaded. Not worth the random lag. Not worth the frustration. Disappointing because I still do enjoy the game but it’s pointless right now to push ranked with the unknown possibility of lag
The game is absolutely terrible. I play with friends to have fun but between the lag and all the other issues it's hard to have fun. Resurgence for me is the only mode I enjoy but the lag has been unplayable way too often. Ps5 btw
After their update on the 9th, every time that I have a full backpack and I go to stow something, the game will freeze for 5 seconds and it won’t let me stow it. So I have to go into my backpack first and drop something to make sure that there’s an open slot, and then I can stow it. It will no longer let me replace items in my backpack if my backpack is full! (PS4)

Cheating is at an all time high atm. Played 4 games last night and countered 9 different cheaters. Multiple in each lobby absolutely crazy. Before maybe ran into 1 or 2 a night but after the update it’s been what feels likes shadow lobbies every game

First I want to say, love the content! Love how on top of things you are, and I have been coming to you for the current meta for the past few years. Much appreciated! I also very much appreciate you giving a lagit voice to players such as myself. I play on xbox, maybe an hour or two a day if I can. Since season 4 reloaded, it's been almost impossible to play. 2/3rds of my games are super laggy, rubberbanding, etc. Even the audio is broken, and that sucks because I love warzone! I haven't seen it this bad since Caldera dropped and our guns were weird spiky monsters instead of guns. That experiance made me leave COD for months. The problem is, instead of finished games that are ready to play, we get basicly a rough draft of the product. Also, you are right. There is no reason COD servers are this bad considering the billions in revenue. Because of this, I'll probably never spend a penny on warzone, and if the servers don't get better, I guess I'll have to stop playing for months again and just hope one day maybe warzone will finally be a finely tuned, finshed product. The DNA strands are not correctly tracking... did a Zombie run, collected DNA for all tiers.. (Mainly lvl 3 (red zone)) and at the end NONE of it tracked!!!! Son of a Beast... but still fun to play.

I’ve been trying to play war zone as to not support the Ftier decision with apex and their battle pass. Can’t even do that because I can’t even play war zone due to the servers.
I am on PC/Battel net and it ahs been packet loss freezing and just low FPS. I should be at like 215-260 FPS but some games I barely break 150 and freeze up
I literally ordered a new modem from my broadband provider today because I thought my modem had gone to shit (I’m on Xbox) all makes sense now, my movies were buffering too but that must of just been coincidence 🤦♂️
In a game so competitive as this the servers should be number 1 priority , I can deal with broken weapons they get fixed eventually and even cheaters cos they aren’t in every game , but the lag and stutters is just a real F U to the consumers sort the servers out
Season 4 is when it started for me. It looked so bad on stream, I thought it was a hardware issue. I have a cpu that "bottlenecks" and while I was saving up, I noticed console players saying the server we were in was laggy when I thought it was my pc acting up. It was every lobby. Now it's fine for the first few games and then boom, shitty lobbies for everyone. makes zero sense.
I played last night for the first time in 4 months, mainly solo Resurgence on PS5. Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep were running great with no issues, but Vondel ran with way too much lag it was unplayable! I just waited to skip Vondel so I can jump back in so it wasn’t too bad a night 🤷♂️ Side note: After 4 years of Warzone, I got my first win in solo Resurgence on Rebirth Island. I used your build for the MCW and FJX Horus so thank you! 🙏

If you have a gas mask, drop that when this happens, then pick it back up. That should fix it temporarily.

I lag literally the entire game every game hitching microstutters lag it changes my characters direction it is horrific I have an AMD PC and play on battlenet it’s so fucking bad bro still managed to drop a 17 while lagging the entire game
My buddies don’t get it as bad as I do and think I’m exaggerating it’s literally unplayable on top of it my chat is completely disabled because I swore so right now the game is literally completely unplayable cheating sweats lag shitty servers and no comms seems like they are intentionally trying to flush this game down the toilet

i was playing yesterday right after the update dropped, i was randomly lagging but it only happens when i try to pick up something from the floor, i wasnt even high ping (Xbox series S)

The first thing scheduled for a fix is the customers ass lol here @c.o.d we're looking into an issue where user reports having fun smooth game play and we have that schedule for immediate repair the shalacking will resume as usual be sure to stop at the store on your way out fora complimentary weapon sticker 😵💫

I also very much appreciate you giving a lagit voice to players such as myself. I play on xbox, maybe an hour or two a day if I can. Since season 4 reloaded, it's been almost impossible to play. 2/3rds of my games are super laggy, rubberbanding, etc. Even the audio is broken, and that sucks because I love warzone! I haven't seen it this bad since Caldera dropped and our guns were weird spiky monsters instead of guns. That experiance made me leave COD for months.
The problem is, instead of finished games that are ready to play, we get basicly a rough draft of the product. Also, you are right. There is no reason COD servers are this bad considering the billions in revenue.
Because of this, I'll probably never spend a penny on warzone, and if the servers don't get better, I guess I'll have to stop playing for months again and just hope one day maybe warzone will finally be a finely tuned, finshed product.

The DNA strands are not correctly tracking... did a Zombie run, collected DNA for all tiers.. (Mainly lvl 3 (red zone)) and at the end NONE of it tracked!!!! Son of a Beast... but still fun to play.

I am on PC/Battel net and it ahs been packet loss freezing and just low FPS. I should be at like 215-260 FPS but some games I barely break 150 and freeze up

I literally ordered a new modem from my broadband provider today because I thought my modem had gone to shit (I’m on Xbox) all makes sense now, my movies were buffering too but that must of just been coincidence 🤦♂️

In a game so competitive as this the servers should be number 1 priority , I can deal with broken weapons they get fixed eventually and even cheaters cos they aren’t in every game , but the lag and stutters is just a real F U to the consumers sort the servers out
Season 4 is when it started for me. It looked so bad on stream, I thought it was a hardware issue. I have a cpu that "bottlenecks" and while I was saving up, I noticed console players saying the server we were in was laggy when I thought it was my pc acting up. It was every lobby. Now it's fine for the first few games and then boom, shitty lobbies for everyone. makes zero sense.
About to play CoD again after nearly a month and I cant say im surprised about its current state lol
I played last night for the first time in 4 months, mainly solo Resurgence on PS5. Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep were running great with no issues, but Vondel ran with way too much lag it was unplayable! I just waited to skip Vondel so I can jump back in so it wasn’t too bad a night 🤷♂️
Side note: After 4 years of Warzone, I got my first win in solo Resurgence on Rebirth Island. I used your build for the MCW and FJX Horus so thank you! 🙏
