Hey! I've been questioning my eating behaviors lately and it's very meat heavy. I try to be more environmentally friendly but somehow can't get off of the meat. Your recipes actually inspire me to cook my favorite meals as vegan alternative because they all honestly look delicious!! Hopefully i can be plant based aswell one day.
I’m so glad you’re making this! I was just watching a 100 McDonald’s chicken nuggets in 10 minutes challenge video and thinking how much I missed them! I’ve been vegan for over two years!
You should sell a SauceStache starter pack! That includes small (4oz. packs) of Xanthum gum, methylcellulose, lactic acid, Kappa Carrageenan, Agar agar, black salt, beet powder, and other ingredients that are really hard to find in a grocery store, or that are normally sold in large amounts bulk online!
Oh man! 😍🤩 Drooling over here. You sir are an amazing asset to the vegan community. I'm so stoked about your channel and all the plant based goodness going on. I THANK YOU!
I’m lovin’ this! Ok. I am going to share this with a friend who recently started the Vegetarian lifestyle, and i think this might be good to introduce them into more options for plant based replacements.
Exactly!!! This recipe was originally my idea for a gf chickun but then I realized how close it would be to the consistency of the McNugget so I ran with it!
Again... A work of art!! And... Have you ever tried grinding the TVP to a powder before hydrating?? Bet it would make that exact rubber meaty texture of the original nugget... Love!! 💖
Hey I love your content! One thing: in literally every episode you tell us how excited you are. There are creators who indeed need to to tell us that but you really don't have to tell us. Your enthusiasm is clear enough as is! Thanks for your work!
I think McDonald’s actually injects beef flavoring into their French fries. I’ve heard that before. Maybe it’s something they used to do and don’t anymore, but you might wanna look into it if you’re vegan just to make sure.
Whoever disliked this video needs to be slapped with a piece of vegan cheese 🤦🏻♀️ Great job as usual! I can totally see you working alongside Alton from food network with the science behind food stuff.
Ok so, the Rooted and Raised nuggets taste EXACTLY like McD’s, down to the texture. I’m convinced they’re just re-packaging McD’s nuggs tbh. It’s insane. Food for thought.
Jacqui D which I’m very okay with because they’re still better than McD’s for my nine year old and he can’t tell the difference. He’s not vegan, but I am MOSTLY plant based. I stick with Dr. Praeger’s and Gardein nuggs, but he likes the R&R.
In the EU there is poultry in poultry seasoning, due to laws that forbid to give a food a name with a taste, when the ingredient itself is not in the product. Like strawberry yogurt has to have strawberry in it and yogurt.
They look amazing! Time for some shopping to get some missing items I need for the recipe... Have to try these, my daughter loves the nuggets but I refuse to get them! Now she can have some McDs nuggets, just healthier! Thx!
I just made these and the inside never stiffened up. I have used methylcellulose before and it worked fine. I believe there needs to be twice as much to get it to work. Either that or it can't be frozen solid but rather just a good chill because I froze it for a few hours just because I ran out of time and he only froze it for an hour.
Not vegan/vegetarian. If anything I am a "pollotarian" which isn't a widely used word. basically means pescetarian but with poultry. I make lots of meatless meals though and have been binging your channel! Love how it's like a science experiment that ends in food you can eat! Less waste that way as well. Keep up the great work! Just subscribed :)
Your videos are great, including this one. One bit of constructive criticism: It doesn’t visually look like the McNugget because the meat of the nugget is bright white while this is brown.Otherwise, great job.
HI.. Looks interesting. CC would be great. I believe I've seen them on your channel before. It is probably a simple process. It will make it easier for people from other countries read and understand your recipes. More people understand, more views, more people will subscribe, and more of whatever comes after that. You get the idea. Also, how long does it take for your recipes to show up on your website? I look forward to more of your ideas. Thanks.
I am impressed with all the options available to vegans for meat replacement. I wish frozen food manufacturers used these techniques to make classic foods taste as good as meat versions.
Can you make a video centered around pea protein?Im not really a soy protein person. And with all the gluten that you eat do you ever worry about candida?
You are a mad vegan scientist and I dig it. McDonald’s should hire you, they gotta do something to compete with the impossible whopper and I bet chickUN nuggets would be just the ticket.
White castle began burger vs your vegan slider recipe ... Nice cross promo and i would love to see you replicate their burger or make it gormet. I love their began burger i tell them to fry it for a long time and get it crisp.
Wow a bday present 2 days early for me - a stacheman video! Not even vegetarian and I watch every single video of yours, keep up the good work my brother!
I would love to be able to sample what you cook and give you a meat eaters honest opinion on the taste, you're kicking ass on the visual parts for sure I am drooling and develop munchies watching most of your videos! Lol
Wow, mind blown 🤯 you really just made vegan nuggets man! I have to try this out for myself. Can you achieve the same results without the methylcellulose?
I really love watching these videos. Some of them I'm all gungho to try myself. Others I just enjoy watching you make them and getting excited when it turns out great! I would love to see a vegan Wendy's spicy nugget. That would make my heart happy I usually just buy the frozen vegan nuggets from the store lol. They're pretty good.
Hello, I need to ask a question here. In my country when people make homemade nuggets they steam it first instead of freezing it before the breading. Can I do that with this recipe? Thank you very much.
I love your vegan video so much they are so cool and you seem so excited about everything. The only problem I have is that I can't do soy and I can't do gluten so I really want to try some of these recipes but it's just not really in the cards for me.
Hi! Sauce stache, what can be replace for the pea protein powder? Can i replace it without all purpose flour or chickpea flour? What is the taste of the pea protein?
I don’t like what you call “ the pull “ or “the chew” what should I leave out? I want the inside an even softer texture but have the same batter as you have here like McDonald’s
I'm curious about whether CMC (Carboxymethyl Cellulose) powder (used to firm fondant in cake decorating) would work in place of the methtl cellulose used in this recipe? Its muh sasierto buy!!
I'm convinced that this guy can make a vegan version of any food.
Right lol I’m glad I found his channel and he’s still eats meat which makes me believe him a little more when he says something taste like meat
Ya, just follow recipes, they are online everywhere. Anyone can do it! Enjoy!
How bout vegan vegetable??
Oof dog I can’t 😂
Philip O'Bryan II true
You should make a “poultry seasoning is vegan” shirt
Hahaha :D

Here in the Netherlands, McD actually sells vegetarian McNuggets and vega McChickens.
