i love my 3.5 but its far too fast for a space like that, my dads place is 5 acres and its perfect for there, a 5 inch would just damage stuff when i crash into things all the time, but a little 3.5 doesnt quite break my car mirrors and stuff when i slam into them lol

Both appear to fly really well, and great piloting around those bushes and all around. That 3” would be awesome with a little more space. The 2.5 appears to be the way to go for your space. I bet if you flew the 3” primarily a bunch you’d be working that 3” around there more like you’re doing the 2.5”. But looks like the 2.5 is a lot of fun with less effort

In the lead up to this I was flying the 3 inch about twice as much as the 2.5. The 3 inch takes some stick time to get comfortable-ish. The 2.5 I can jump on after a long break and I’m good to go.

What props are on the 3 inch? Could the control perhaps improve with lower pitch props? I'm assuming they are both fairly similar in weight.

    Hi There,
I've watched several of your videos, I've built the following:
    - GnarlyFPV Primo V080X Frame
    - Geprc gep-12A-F411 v1.1 2-4s Flight Controller
    - happmodel ex1102-kv10000 motors 1.5mm
    - Happymodel elrs ep2 receiver
    - hqprop 65mmgr bi and tri blade props
    - Tbs unify pro32 nano vtx
    - Tattu 2s 450mah Batteries
    - caddx turbo eos2 camera
    - BlueJay v19.2 48kHz w/ Bidirectional DSHOT
I have it where it hovers, but the motors sound rough, the quad vibrates with oscillation.
I've tried various versions of BF and currently running BF 3.5.7
    any suggestions?
    thanks
    Hayward

This is the type of issue of why I put out a recommended build and BF preset for my frames and highly recommend Flight controllers with black box. It sounds like you have excess mechanical or electrical noise or excess noise amplification due to insufficient filtering or excess latency (too much filtering). Pinning down where it’s coming from involves a methodical progression through all the possibilities.

@@Quad66 I changed the bluejay esc software from 48khz to 24khz and set to props_out, that seemed to fix the vibration issues.
      thanks again

@@hprompt166 if the quad was spinning props out but BF thought it was props in then yaw would be backwards and cause uncontrolled oscillation. A while back I had issues something running really rough after a pwm change. I think it was a NBD board and the fix was adjusting timing or something in the ESC settings. I’m glad you got it sorted out.
