  • Egyptologist Dr Joann Fletcher reveals a strange and mysterious world: the ancient Egyptian afterlife. To them waking life was just a dress rehearsal. Joann clambers into rarely visited tombs, explores a treasure trove of long-buried objects and examines spectacular mummies to discover just why the Egyptians spent a fortune preparing for death.

It is free because it is false history indoctrination. Who in their right mind believes that men 13:56 chiseled this massive tomb out of bedrock? Temple/building at 5:36 was carved out of the soil or was it uncovered from the soil burying this place after some catastrophic event?? Whoever found these abandoned gigantic buildings carved their own meanings into the stone.

He insured his heart's silence through the purchase of a heavy heart scareb.....how delightful..."shut it!"
he was a very good man...an excellent husband...a fair and honest manager of this architectural project.....they chose well as he was esteemed by Pharoahs ....his workmen honored him by attesting to their supervisor's character....
    How utterly wonderful....and the music....it's mesmerizing ....
Egyptians were unique. ....no other civilization so civilized in the ancient world....they thought of everything. . .ingenius ....
    otherworldly....thank you ....

It's so nice to see a documentary about Ancient Egypt without Zahi Hawass popping up all over it acting like he's done all the archaeological work in the entire country and personally made all the discoveries.

Lol Zahi Hawass wouldn't appear in anything with Joanne Fletcher in it. They didn't really get along, mostly because she disagreed with him on his attribution of particular identities to a pair of unlabeled female mummies known as the "young woman" and the "elder lady". On top of that, she wanted to have investigation licenses to follow her theory.... He actually blocked her from working in Egypt for some time.
