Duran Duran's John Taylor Supports Road Recovery
He may reside from 'across the pond', but distance has never stopped John Taylor (bassist and founding member of iconic British rock band Duran Duran) from showing up for Road Recovery's young people whenever he's in New York. While recording Duran Duran's 14th studio album in England, John caught wind of Road Recovery founder Gene Bowen doing his 1,500 mile bicycle fundraiser ride throughout New York State this past summer and got in the act! As part of his continued support for Road Recovery, John Taylor offered fans the chance to win an exclusive 20-minute Skype chat with him to quiz the master-bassist on everything and anything Duran-related. John took a break from recording to be beamed into the living room of the winning bidder who was asked about the studio process, life on the road and other topics one ever wanted to know about the band. Alongside this, the winning bidder received a Duran Duran goody bag, filled to the brim with all sorts of band-related gifts.
