I watched this game, both of them, it was a very hard time for Juventus since the absence of Alex Del Piero. Despite this huge blow, Juve made it to semifinal.
I'd like to know, Who was the head coach of juventus at that time back then?
Fun fact: Del Piero was there for AC Milan, but United had an answer for him in the form of Ji-Sung Park. That's what makes Sir Alex one of the best, he always found a way(Except he screwed up against Barca by not playing him)

I want the entire 90s and early-mid 2000s back, with all of the good and bad. I've never been a happy, or lucky guy and I have been constantly been bullied in my child and teenage years, but even so, I don't hold grudge against most of my bullies when I see the pansies and the easily offended and triggered losers that I see today. If you asked me, mankind goes downhill. Instead of getting grittier and better as humans we get more offended and sensitive to anything and everything under the Sun. I don't like this type of society and I hope everyday when I wake up to see it gone. I hope that it's all just a bad dream, but it's not.... that's why I want the 90s back....

It was not Zidane's upset that threatens team spirit, but Inzhaghi's lack of football intelligence.
He was a good striker. But that's about it. His game was limited in other domains.

United struck the post 2 times in the away leg and i thought it was not going to be united nights because previously we absolutely dominated dortmund in the semifinal but didn't took the chances, struck the post 2 times,got ball cleared of the line many times and lost those semifinal.

@@omalone1169 It was years ago Bryan Robson scored twice, Frank Stapleton scored the other and it was the Barcelona team with Maradona. The Utd fans got on the pitch at the end and carried the players on their shoulders

People talk about those 10 days in may 99 when united won the treble but often forget the hard work united had to put in April to make it all happen. Injuries to key personnel, that villa Park replay against arsenal, hanging on in the first leg against juventus, coming back from the abyss in Turin.
And I remember both the German and Italian fa helping bayern and juve to accommodate their European run by adjusting their kickoff dates and times, united got absolutely nothing for their troubles from the English FA. Less than 48 hours after this match united had to go to elland road for lunch time kick off against leeds. Only managed a draw, arsenal beat Boro and went top of the league.
