Hi Kevin! You know we all have the ups and downs in life, some days are just easier it seems than others. One thing I do know about being on a sober path forward is, that by golly I can sure handle the rough spots a lot easier and better now. I'm dealing with a bit of insomnia here lately...this too will pass. But this morning I was really thinking about what hell this lack of sleep would be if alcohol was still in the picture!!?? I can manage my life so much better now. Thanks for all your support each step of the way.
I can go about 12 to 20hrs. I know I'll get to 2 days soon, but you inspire me. Good work. For those of us who know, 2 days is a good accomplishment. 🎉
Ive saved a lot of your Facebook stories. Today is the first day. Do we quit cold turkey? I want to feel better. I have horrible bowels all night and stomach pains! Your are so right I know better I’ll get watching Thank you!
Three months sober, eating clean, Exercising & getting sun every alternate days but the catch is I’ve not stepped out of my home in 90 days. The only fear is that I’ll drive my car to the nearest wine shop the moment I land my feet outside my home. Any tips?
@@GranpaRAD not really! I’m in my hometown which I left at 16 for my graduation. I’m 27 at the moment. I work in fashion industry in India, also been part of couple of big reality shows including shark tank & Mtv. there’s no one that I know personally here.
Almost 90 days sober Kevin! Just in time for my 33rd birthday next week. Thank you for your videos! Feeling a lot better emotionally, my productivity went way up, I bought a new truck, I’m able to push myself so much more in yoga-gaining muscle like never before. Best of all, my sister now has cut back on drinking too. Setting a good example for my family again and the kids I teach :)
Thank you Kev! I completed 6 months of your course in March ‘24, I’m still alcohol free! Following the course structure & doing the work has worked wonders for me ❤️

4:50, excessive drinking over long periods of time can lead to your brain cells shrinking, yes. But the good thing about this, is that after a year or two of abstinence they return to their original size. It’s one of the things keeping me sober, the hope that my brain will be well… normal again.
Sorry to hear you are sick ! Try to get your mind off alcohol . Sometimes for me when I don’t have things to do I find something to do - anything ! Yesterday I got bored and anxious and I went for a drive ! Just don’t go to places where you used to drink - that is the tough spot for me - my old hangouts ! I can’t do that for right now ! We know our limits and we have to be careful and not let our minds in the subconscious trick us!

Climbing the mountain again after a 5 month relapse.
Do you recommend tapering down by percentage? I'm drinking an average of two 8% beers a day.
In our prep stage of the program, we recommend 10% a day over 14 days, with 4 days alcohol free in between... Should be good to go after that.
Hi Kevin it's so hard I have end stage liver and I try to not drink it's sooo hard
Best of luck to you.
