Here’s the first of maybe 4 videos of us down south.In this video is some footage of my first ever dive in Te Waipounamu (South Island) Wow what an experience, dirty water, known to have sharks (specifically great whites) in close to the area, screaming current and lack of correct gear = a situation that forces you to become raw, ready and AWARE. Sense are heightening and my drive for kaimoana is much higher.
This has been probably my favourite video to edit and to watch back 😜

Biggest Kina I ever got were in Wellington, can’t wait until I can travel back to Aotearoa, miss my trips home.
No way! That’s wicked! I’ve seen some big kina in Wellington but never the size of the ones I saw in Bluff. Whenever you’re in wellys and shoot out for a dive flick me a message I’m keen to come learn a few things!
Hoera Wyllie kept the biggest one I ever got and rotted out the whole shell, if that makes sense, gifted it to a friend, it now rests in Manchester England
