  • BASIC SLOKAS EPISODE-2
    1.KARAGRE VASATE LAKSHMI:
    KaraAgre Vasate Lakshmi,
    Kara-Madhye Saraswati
    Kara-Moole Sthitaa Gowri,
    Prabate Kara-Darshanam
    MEANING:
    Lakshmi rests a the tip of hand (i.e. palm), who we worship for wealth. Saraswati is in the middle of the hand, who we worship for knowledge. And gouri is at the base of our hand, who we worship for health and protection.
    We should tell this sloka morning when we get up from bed by seeing our hands.
    2.SAMUDRA VASANE DEVI
    Samudra-Vasane Devi
    Parva taStanaMannddale
    Vissnnu-Patni Namastubhyam
    Paada-Sparsham Kssamasva-Me.
    MEANING:
    (Oh Mother Earth) O Devi, You Who have the Ocean as Your Garments, and Mountains as Your Bosom,
    O Consort of Lord Vishnu, Salutations to You; Please Forgive my Touch of the Feet (on Earth, which is Your Holy Body.
    We should tell this sloka morning after telling karagre vasate Lakshmi slokam by touching the ground and asking bhumata for forgive us because we are touching our feet to you amma.
    3.DEPAM JYOTI PARABRAHMA
    Depam jyoti ParaBrahma
    Depam sarva tamopha
    Depena sadyate sarvam
    Sandya Depam namostute.
    MEANING:
    Meaning: The literal meaning of the mantra is: "I fold my hands before the lord, the maintainer of this creation, in the form of this light. I adore this light, which destroys all the pains resulting from my omissions and commissions".
    we should tell this sloka in evening when our elders light lamp and when we ON light in our home every day in evening.
    4.KARACARANA KRITAM VAA
    Kara-Caranna Krtam Vaa
    Kaaya-Jam Karma-Jam Vaa
    Shravanna-Nayana-Jam Vaa
    Maanasam Va-Aparaadham |
    Vihitam-Avihitam Vaa
    Sarvametat-Kssamasva
    Jaya Jaya Karunnabdhe Mahaadeva Shambho.
    MEANING:
    "O God, kindly pardon my incorrect actions done consciously or unconsciously, either through my organs of action (hand, feet, and speech) or through my organs of perception (eyes, ears) or by my mind. I adore the God, who is the ocean of kindness".
    By God's grace, we have completed one more day of our life. So, in order to thank god and to ask for his mercy, one can recite this Sloka. This bedtime Sloka is a prayer to God asking him to excuse our mistakes and maintain his mercy on us.
    We should tell this sloka in night while we are going to bed to aware all dreams and to get good sleep.
