EBPMAN Tech Reviews what kind of set up did you use for your photo booth? I have done quite a bit of research on how to set one up using iPad apps, dslrs, etc but many of the videos are from several years ago so information is dated. I have an event coming up where I'd like to do one! Also, I think your review convinced me to buy this printer!

ALL of these 6"x4" Celphy printers - and I do mean ALL of them eventually stop working because a very cheap plastic gear breaks. They are available online (3rd party) and the fix requires you to disassemble the printer and superglue the new gear into place. I have repaired both of mine over the years. If you are happy to repair a printer like this, then buy one. Otherwise, avoid.
We do photo booths at home for all our events. Same setup it's a hit. I will say that you can get away with just email / text. We do them for Christmas, new years, etc. Always a hit and little to know cost
The print didn't take too long once it started printing but you cut the camera after you sent the image to the printer so we don't know how long the entire process was. Some printers take along time to process the image other don't. At this price point I'm guessing to takes awhile. Wish you'd have shown it. At a commercial event that could cause a problem

I have a Q. Do you still have the canon selphy CP1200 and it still works? If yes what ink is compatible with it? Because i bought the a new ink the same as the one you reviewed in the video but it didn’t print the first photo well and then the printer stopped working and the ink cartridge got stuck inside of it. Hi, thanks for your your video. I have no problem to print single photos. The problems are: - I can not print different sizes, like passaporte size; - the edit button doesn’t work - I can not see the images on the screen - the printed image is different from the one shown on the phone (always bigger) - and others that I can not remember right now I called the Canon Brasil and they don’t give support because I bought the my cp1200 in Canada. So I wrote to Canon Canada and didn’t receive an answer. I don’t know if you can help me. I would appreciate.
I got this same printer last Christmas and my problem is the image runs over into the breakable tab once broken part of the image edges are on the tabs and that's in borderless mode and when in border mode the image is smaller 🤷🏽♂️
I'm interested in possible using this for a wedding guest book for my son's wedding - probably 2x3 photos. Could you give me tips for setting that up so printing is efficient? Thanks!
The printing is best handled by the app rather than the printer. I used this printer for a wedding shower. I used an ipad with simplebooth. Pictures came out awesome. If your taking the pictures with your phone it's easy too. We took many surprise pics during the shower and many iphone and android family and friends just connected to it via wifi and printed their own pics. There is a new version out the cp1300. That has build it booth like templates if that's what your into. But this one can be found under 100 bucks and prints on the same paper as the new one does as well.
It seems very hard to find an available icc profile for this printer. The colors somehow don't come out right when I let the printer manage color profile. Any ideas how to get the printer to colors accurately?
You might just let your application manage the colors like Photoshop, etc. You will have an option on one of the print screens to select what manages colors.

Wish they had an option for matte coating and up to 8x10 size.

I know it's been 5 years 😅 but is there a way to get photo strips? The ones with a border and three photos on it.
Could we use a regular printer and just add the photo paper in ?? Or would it not work the same ?

should i not set to glossy so it will print 100 prints. I did a test and it was set to glossy and after 3 pictures it ran out of ink

Hi this prints 2x3 and 4x6. You select to print 2x2 and then you will get 4 pictures per sheet

Prabhu Iyer its a 4 by 6 with 4 pics amd a header image or logo of the event. I have not found strips in paper format for this printer

me too. I'm using both OP5T & samsung S6. The pictures are sharp. but when I printed them out, the looked like a bit posterized.
