When not having played legends in a decade. This sounds almost exactly the same. Not a diss by any means though, I love hearing anything in a new style. Been tryna get my bro who make beats to fw these video game soundfonts. There's just so many unique sounds.
@@xboxerhummer for real? I never noticed, I remember mm8 pretty well soundwise. But not legends, suppose it's time to replay. Maybe even actually play them both, never finished 2 even though I know the unfortunately open ending. 😕 lastly, where would I acquire these soundfonts? If they're open source that is. Not tryna take anything that ain't mine to use or distribute.
@@toddcahill6300 i actually downloaded mm8's raw sound effects and instrumets in wav format and use those like a caveman. It's become a bit of a pain which is why the mm8 remixes slowed down, i've seen mm8 open source fonts but they're pretty unfinished even to this day. I think most people use audio module trackers like OpenMPT for this kinds of remixes.
@@xboxerhummer now I'm unfamiliar myself with production of instrumental music, but that sound like a lot of worth it extra steps to meet a goal! Have you thought about making what you extracted privately shareable to some extent? I get that it's technically assets of copyrighted work, so I understand if you wouldn't.
@@toddcahill6300 oh no worries i didn't rip them myself, i got it from here th-cam.com/video/chsBcQb7Z_I/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MegaRemixer (i think). The thing about the way i do it is that: 1) the sounds aren't properly named so i have to browse around for every instrument, it's arranged into these little "sound clumps" along side other samples of the same stage and a lot of sounds are repeats. 2) i have to fix the pitch manually in each track because most samples sound weird raw, it's very clear in most of the voice lines 3) t h e d r u m s and some other things here and there. I also don't really know too much about music editing myself actually, i kinda just grab the basic stuff and have fun with it heh.

Wow. That's...really close to the normal song. (Unsurprisingly. Same hardware.)
Sounds like Clown Man selling apples.
One of my favorite tracks from legends. This sounds so similar but it kind of makes sense.

i've come to realize mm8 and legends use a lot of the same sound effects, and this theme isn't the best for showing the difference xd

Can you extend more and add more instruments?
