I thought I should say that I know quite a lot of people say that Berserk is best at the golden age, but I heavily disagree, i'm confident it's mostly cause they enjoyed the anime more than the manga, or they didn't like how the story shifted into a more darker tone, because the characters, the art, the battles, the emotion, the author improves In all these aspects greatly, so no need to be concerned about the story getting worse I'd say. I agree! I am also in the minority that believes it gets even better past the golden age arc. Golden age arc is a masterpiece but I’ve also been a fan of the darker fantasy aspect of berserk post golden age more then the game of thrones aspect of the golden age.
