R2- inc 12
R3-1sc,inc 18

R5-3sc,inc 30
R6-9 sc all 30

Repeat same with other colour and leave and long tail
Add eye's in btw 7-8rows 7stiches apart
Add smile on 9 row
Sew both
Add stuffing to one side

hi! is it normal for the other octo so be bit bigger than the other? 😭
They should both be the same size but if one is slightly bigger than the other then it shouldn’t make a difference once you sew them together. Just make sure both of ur octos have 12 legs!😊

Amazon is where you can buy safety eyes and a substitute for the magic ring is chain two then go into the first chain and crochet into that chain.

I kept it at normal speed at the beginning of each round, if it’s still too fast u can slow down the video by changing the playback speed!💗

What is the size of the eyes?
I used 14mm but you can also use 12mm if u want them a bit smaller or if ur using a smaller yarn 😊

When you increase (putting two single crochets in the same stitch) it creates another stitch 😊

Hiii i have a question. For R5, theres 30 inc right? Two in each stitch after sc 3? I end up with more than 30 inc:( so confused
Yes There should be 30 stitches, 3 single crochets and then an increase which is 2 in each stitch. did you have 24 stitches in the round before (R4)?

Update: I kinda botched the design. Mine has 11 legs 😅 and instead of an octopus, it look like some sort of cupboard monster 💀)
In the octopus legs you have to make a slip stich after 2 legs in all te round?
You slip stitch in the next stitch and then make the next leg in the next stitch and just repeat 😊
Oh also at the end of the round it finishes with a slip stitch
