    The reel lead are the easiest way to get jerked down by a big dog, it allows the dog to gather speed before the pull.

    These were the best I've seen in this genre! As for cats, I've had both cats and dogs all of my life and I've never had one take control or be "temperamental." Honestly, it's how you treat them. I still remember my older sister complaining that I must have some kind of gift for choosing cats because hers are always frightened, mean, and unsociable. I went to visit her and never previously met these terrible creatures that hid in the shadows and "hated" people. I fell asleep alone in the basement watching, of course, Animal Planet, and awoke to my sister turning on the lights and exclaiming, "OMG! How did you do that?!" I had one cat above my head and the other on my chest where they had fallen asleep. I'm telling you, unless it was abused, you should have no problems with a cat or dog. You have a kind and gentle spirit, but a playful and cheerful side. I think you'll be a great pet friend. Animals sense when you don't care for them or if you love them. They'll return the favor, whatever the case may be.♥️

      While that is true it's also important to also heavily depends on the personality of the owner and the cat. My cat prefers me over my family simply because they prefer quite individuals who don't seek them out. While my friend's cat loves their owner for being the exact opposite. As long you and your pet are on same wavelength then you guys will have a great life! (This goes triple for horses. They have stronger personalities and very much choose what they like in a person).

    When the animals are playing, you watch and laugh. They know when to chill for the most part. They go through stages, puppy, adolescent. Those first year or two are usually the hardest because of puppy/kitten stages. But they are the funnest

    About the only problem I've ever had with cats is giving them a bath, most would deal with it but yowl the entire time but I've had a few that would fight to get out of the water. Other than that, play with them every day to get rid of the energy and relieve bordom, get interactive toys for when you can't play and be prepared to put up with the zoomies in the middle of the night.

    The one thing people don’t realize about cats is they like their space, just like humans. The only difference is they have sharp claws and teeth. They need to learn to respect their space. Not all cats are that energetic. My fat cats always comes get me after I put down my toddler for her nap. She bothers me until I cuddle with her so she can take her nap too😂 I tuck her under the blankets so she can be extra warm and feel safe 🥰

    The girl with the bulldog pulling her hair? The get a dog to stop and let go; stop pulling and pet them instead. They pull harder because they think you're playing. Everyone's seen a dog playing tug with people or other dogs. Same thing if your dog runs from you, don't chase them. They will think you're playing and will continue to run.

    It's funny because if I workout at home, my cat sees me as fair game. If I'm ever doing anything on the ground, actually. I guess that means cuddle times for her lol. Only time she would swipe/bite me is if I pet her stomach for too long. But it's never with her claws or a "real" bite. She's harmless lol. I guess I've never experienced what all these cat owners on these videos have. Still, pretty funny. I also love that the dogs will knock over people and then immediately go over to give licks and worry about them.

  • @monicapdx
    @monicapdx 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    These are funny, but so many were avoidable. Two things: the temperament of the breed, and proper training. Yes, you can train cats! For your first cat, get a nice calm one, probably not a kitten, and one that has possible ancestry of British Shorthair, Doll-faced Persian, Himalayan, Ragdoll, Ragamuffin, and so on. Shelters can usually make informed guesses. (Of if you want to spend the money, get a DNA test.) You likely won't want to spends hundreds or thousands for a purebred!! Then find out what they've learned from interacting with the cat. Then read up on how to train one, and how not to unwittingly encourage clawing and biting.
    Most of those were ill-trained animals, or stupid owners. Shaking a bucket of grain at a horse when there's apparently a novice rider on it? Stupid. (A good rider would have controlled it.) That German Shepherd through the door window, though, good dog! That person was acting hinky.

      I have 20 years experience taking care of people's animals and that's just plain provably false. Not that you need my experience to know that. Living in the real world tells you that many dogs that bite also get coddled and pampered and treated like one of the family but can still have an off moment. Animals of all kinds are allowed to have boundaries; they're not obligated to put up with our pushy love.
      *and I know a ton of highly social, playful and affectionate cats that do not swat or nip. Just like I know lots of dogs that get pissy when they don't wanna be touched.
