The COVID-19 crisis has forced us into our homes and has given us the opportunity to do just what Paul Washer has said, “it becomes relational rather than organizational.” I praise God for that. While I look forward to the day that we can return to brick and mortar, I do not take granted this opportunity to spend more time in the home with studying, learning and growing in God in the home with the family.❤️✝️❤️
I have never known a man of God, being the head of household, my life was ruined by our culture - my hope and life is turned over to God, my Father, the true Father - I am blessed, thank you Abba
Love Paul Washer!!!!!!!! Sadly, I’ve never met a self-proclaimed believer who respects and loves the Lord enough to be a biblical husband. So many want to add to and take away from His commands and what God calls a man to be.
Please pray for my husband (as well as our whole family). He is not being the head of the home. I'm not even sure he is saved. He say he has been saved, but I see no fruits. I am in no way perfect, but I do know I have asked Jesus to come in my life and save me and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I know Jesus saved me! I had the blessed opportunity to lead my son and daughter to the Lord. I pray that my husband will get saved (if not) and be the head of our home. Thank you for your prayers! Your preaching and teachings have truly blessed me! God Bless
Angela Burke I'll pray for your husband also, I can relate I have not been doing my duty in my family as a leader I feel I don't know how to lead. I had no example my father didn't lead. So now I have to take this important position and feel very under qualified as I feel most men do. Society has done this to us. Western Christianity has done this too us. Time for a revival amen
My husband is good in leading our home as the man of house he is. He is a great dad, but one thing he is failing is to put God first in his life. I meet the Lord by my husband. But now that I know the way we should really walk with Jesus my eyes have been open. 5 years serving the Lord. It gets me so so upset to see that he does not even read his Bible pray, only when we eat he prays. It gets me furious to see how he is putting other things First than God. But all I could do is pray and let God take over and help him.
Very sad to say My husband has never discipled me our children. I did it myself with our children when they were young they are heading towards 40 now. Its sad that he never did and still doesnt with me to this day. Even now, at this minute, l tried to bring what Paul Washer is saying, he turned away and closed the door behind him.
What I have realised is that these kinds of teachings do not apply to narcissistic people... their view of love and respect is so distorted, no matter how much you respect them biblically, it will never ever seem like respect. A narcissistic person wants that when they stick their finger in your eye, you don't protect your eye because if you do, they take that is disrespect. And when your eye swells because they poked your eye, they feel you that this is disrespectful. With them there is no doing anything right.
Why use the word “catechizing” if against (ORTHODOX) Catholicism? Seems a bit contradictory? I’m a traditional Catholic and love Paul Washer. I know his followers are sincere….I hope that he one day sees that a church started by Calvin over a thousand years after Jesus was last known to be on this earth in his normal human bodily form cannot also be the church Jesus founded! Why be part of a church if you know it was founded by someone other than Jesus? We need people like you guys in the traditional Catholic Church. I know you don’t know any better. And if you guys criticize V2 Catholics, trust me, I don’t blame you. We have more in common with you!
+Venitta4J The Bible never says that God is going to give you a Godly spouse, but the Bible does make it clear that even if you do get an ungodly spouse, you are still suppose to remain faithful to your Lord and continue on in righteousness. If a husband commits adultery, the wife is free to divorce but God would rather you forgive and stay as you are because God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16).
Venitta4J You matter more to God than you could ever imagine as a believer, but what you have to understand is that God places these trials in your life to test your faith and these trials will also prove if you are truly Christian or just a false professor. If your husband has committed adultery, the Bible makes it clear that divorce is allowed BUT if he has cheated and YOU choose to stay, then as a Christian you must keep forgiving and praying for your husband. Your husband will have to answer for his own sins on judgement day, your role is to submit, love, forgive and support him. I know it's hard but you have to remember that the ultimate goal of marriage is the glory of God and we give God glory by doing what he tells us to. God bless.
Keith Thompson YOUR ANSWER DOES NOT ENCOURAGE ME BUT MAKES ME FEEL SO SAD THAT THIS WIFE IS DOOMED TO LIVE A LONELY LIFE EVEN THOUGH SHE HAS A HUSBAND AND GOD WILL NOT DEAL WITH THIS HUSBAND TO HELP THIS DAUGHTER
+Venitta4J Keith is correct. However, I would encourage you that you should be quick to remember you are made in the divine image and likeness of God. If you will take that to heart, it shall strengthen you in all things, and you should not let infidelity of the past ruin your spirit and you will not let anyone put you down in the present or the future. You deserve the love you need, and if you are staying with your husband, then you shall forgive and give unto him the respect he deserves. Remember, he is also made in the divine image and likeness of our Lord. That makes you equals with different roles and God has deemed it. So shall you both play out your roles according to His will. As Keith said, the day of judgment shalt all things be revealed and understand with perfect clarity. Before then, I encourage you and your husband both to come to terms and reconcile the past grievances...and both of you must be there for your daughter. But your primary vocation is to your husband and his to you, his wife. Your children are a gift from God as part of the bi-product of your marriage. If you are both Christians, then, if you are strong enough, pray, reconcile, forgive, and grow together in Christ. God bless.
glory to God, for the life of paul washer
Just made 22 years of being married/have 2 daughters 21 and 17 years old. It hasn’t been easy. But my family is rooted in Jesus Christ.

I would like to hear a sermon about how to handle a passive husband...
Martha Peace's "The Excellent Wife" is incredibly helpful. God bless you. 💜

does God want any woman to have a husband who is unfaithful repeatedly unfaithful just to conform her to CHRIST who was faithful unto death.

Keith Thompson how many times does a woman forgive adultery specially if the husband is unrepentant, doesnt she matter to GOD.
