Motley was the living embodiment of the sunset strip in the early-to-mid 80s.
I was 18 when this came out and saw them in concert!! Omg there are no words!! 🙌🏻
The lyrics of the song reference a number of infamous stripper clubs including the Marble Arch in Vancouver from back in the day. At the time not only were there feature strippers but every server also wore sexy outfits and would get into it, and there were numerous tables throughout the bar that doubled up as secondary smaller stages with poles as well. And once every hour the DJ would play some kickass song and not only did the feature dances get up on stage but all the servers got up on the tables and danced too. I will never forget the day when I was there with a few of the boys and this song (brand new release then) came on for the "power hour" and of course Motley Crue was known to frequent the place so when this song started playing the place went freaking CRAAAAAZZZYYYYY!!. Lapdances everywhere. Everyone buying rounds. Women patrons getting into it with both the girls and guys. It was amazing. Those were the days when people were more concerned about enjoying life than with political correctness.
if you want another motley cruw, have some motley crue, wild side, that is 1 kick ass song and you will LOVE it :)

I saw Motley Crue on the Dr. Feel good tour after being a fan for years at that point! As a drummer nothing was more kickass than watching Tommy’s Drumkit spin upside while playing LIVE WIRE. LIVE WIRE IS MY FAVORITE CRUE SONG!
one time when a TV reporter was interviewing them, the reporter asked "...........but don't you think the Girls, Girls, Girls video is negatively stereotyping women? Portraying them as nothing but sexual objects?" To that, Vince Neil answered "You hit the nail on the head" while Tommy Lee said {in the background} "mission accomplished"
This is a more poppy song. To get a sense of how hard they rocked, listen to anything from their first two albums.
Shout at the devil too fast for love live wire and dr feelgood was better as something they presented later on

I lived this era. You obviously don’t understand how big the Crue was during this time.
I loved GNR and if they didn’t crap the bed prematurely as a band they may have reached the same level as Motley Crue.
The thing that separates them from other bands is they were the epitome of a good time band. They didn’t waste a lot of time writing deep socially conscience lyrics.
Their first album is still my favorite because it was raw and in your face. They got progressively more polished as a band in later albums but they never seemed to care about being the best vocalist or musicians instead focusing on writing about the rock and roll lifestyle they actually lived.
They were sex, drugs and rock-n-roll incarnate.
Mick Mars is wildly underrated and often overlooked as the guy who WAS the motley sound and only real musician in the band.. but, if you look up Rockstar in the dictionary, you will see a picture of motley crue... yesterday's Rockstar is today's rappers....
My favourite song is Wildside you guys have gotta do the video to that,it's awesome.

The dancer that he carried out was his girlfriend/wife at the time. I don't remember what time within that album they got married.
My first concert was the Crue in 89.
This video was recorded at the seventh veil. The lead singer, Vince Neil, his wife is playing one of the strippers. She’s a blonde and she has like a black leather bikini on. Close to the end of it, you can see him carrying her. Everyone was so drunk by the end of the video, yet they all got on their motorcycles and went and got some Mexican food.❤

Motley Crue is above poison and guns and roses. Poison and guns and roses are good but Motley Crue started what became the hair band phase with theater of pain album. The earlier stuff was before the poofy hair and the spandex. They have so many more songs almost everyone on every album is a banger. Try Wild Side. What should you do a couple more songs you'll see the range in what they can do. But definitely start with Wild Side

the wild side video is one of their best you have to pay attention to Tommy Lee's drum kit. first there was motley then the rest. I don't think there was a wilder band back in those days lol at least what I can remember from those days lol

I suggest checking out Motley Crue, 1990 MTV video music awards, imo, this is motley at there best, no backing tracks( at least that I know of), band sounds great, Vince sounds great, you can tell he's singing every word of the song

I just went through your entire library and I see lots of guns n' roses, poison and skid row which were really good but only one Motley Crue which is girls girls girls girls girls which is really good. I thought I was going to see more Motley Crue since you are formed an opinion that guns and roses was better which they're not. But no you only had girls girls girls yeah tons of the others so to form a fair opinion I would say check out more of the Motley Crue starting with Wild Side. Sorry I grew up in that area and cannot think of one person that would ever say poison Oregon guns and roses was better than Motley Crue even though everybody love them and they were very very good. Start with wild side then if you want to check out a ballot do home sweet home. I'll give you enough material to actually make a choice but maybe you still will choose poison and GNR over Motley Crue. To each his own and everybody has their own choice.

Miclk Mars is definitely an underated guitarist but is better than Cc DeVille Scotti Hill and Dave Sabotage! Slash and Mick Mars are pretty even on talent Bass player Duff from GnR is probably the best player but as far as talent its definitely Nikki Sixx he founded Mötley Crüe and he writes every song of Mötleys!! Mötleys second single from this album Girls girls girls was " wild side" its Mötley at playing live and its bad a*s!! Tommy Lee plays his drums upside down and spinning like a damn wheel its amazing and at the time in "87" this was the coolest shit ever!!plus Mötley Crüe has sold more albums than Skid Row and Poison combined! I love Skid Row and Poison especially I am even friends with Rikki from Poison so I'm not biased! GnR and Mötley have both sold well over 100 million albums literally! Poison is somewhere over 50 million albums sold and Skid Row in the 30 million albums sold! Yeah and with Mötleys movie in 2019 and their Stadium tour with Def Leopard and poison for the last 3 years and still being one of the top grossing tours for the past 3 years... Very few bands have done that and continue to do that!
Not only did he touch her, he married her. Motley Crue was one of the biggest bands in the world at this time, and I've seen them live 15 times and they kicked ass back then. I give you a request that alot of people don't really think about a lot and that is "Primal Scream"!!!
