To be fair, you guys didn't speak for months beacuse you were watching naruto, you had to catch up.
Rarran : "I got most of my audience through Hearthstone. Therefore I will only play card games on my streams. And every new game is going to be exactly 2.6% more different from Hearthstone than the previous one, so that I can diversify my content over the next 3 years without ever losing engagement."

Tbf Rarran has a bit of an unhealthy obsession with growing his channel. How he got successful but hopefully he can moderate it and not overwork himself. Dudes great.

It's been weeks since we last saw Rarran on this channel, but seeing their dynamic come back the second he got on the call was amazing. It's instant great banter with these two.

I think what Rarran is trying to say around about 2:11:00 is that Hearthstone has very good graphic design. I find that other digital card games have a hard time finding that middleground between complexity and fidelity the way Hearthstone seems to do rather effortlessly. The card text is large and easy to read, the heroes, portraits, powers and all have that classic Blizzard polish.

Speaking as somebody who has watched all of Naruto and Avatar... Rarran is 500% correct when he says Avatar is better than Naruto.
But that doesn't make Naruto bad.
In addition, Kung-Fu Panda is also better than Naruto.
Naruto has one of the best soundtracks of any media ever created and that alone makes it better than a lot of other anime purely because it provokes an emotional response. It really is up there with cowboy bebop, made in abyss, lupin and all the other series with top tier music.
Naruto goes downhill on Shippuden but the first part is pretty solid (other than the fillers). Avatar is one of the goats of western animation yes but I think there's not much point comparing the 2 since they are conceptually different shows in the sense that Avatar is conceived as a show with a clear ending in mind whereas Naruto being a manga first falls in the trap of extending a story past its original vision and that more often than not has poor results.
As for Kung Fu panda imo they should stop milking that cow already, I do like the artstyle of the new one but the villain seems meh.
@@BombaJead agreed, Naruto's best arcs are the first few. It's all downhill past that.
But that is a problem a lot of shounen shows have with length.
One Piece is imho the only one where it manages to keep me feeling like the story is actually moving forward, which is I think is in part of the series placing a literal goal/end point in the world to reach in the most tangible and literal way the audience can imagine.
To me though, even One Piece could do with trimming a lot of fat (which is why I do indeed recommend to people who haven't gotten attached to the voice acting and music, to just read the manga... Alternatively, watch the fan cut: One Pace, which trims a lot of the fat from the show.)
Naruto at it's best is way better than Avatar, but Avatar got to tell its whole story at the pace they intended, whereas Naruto had to deal with the whole manga/anime system over there that trashed it.
Kung Foo Panda is really good, but it's levels below either of these shows.

As someone who watched Naruto almost religiously as a kid, and stayed watching till Shippuden hit a break post Pein arc, when I ended up picking up the manga til That finished.
As much as I loved it as a kid, it's not even close to being in the same tier as ATLA.
Also, Sunk Cost Fallacy is the SOUL and ESSENCE of coping.
