    I have three years experience as a machinist and it took me a while to learn how to read calipers and micrometers. And you can teach someone to read mics in six minutes, truly amazing. Thanks

    I’m getting older and find it more difficult to remember new information. Just getting into machining as a hobby. I’ve watched other videos about micrometers in the past, but needed a “refresher” since I’ve mainly used digital calipers to this point, but now wanting closer tolerances. This is definitely the best, most simple instructional video I’ve watched. Thanks!

    All my years in maintenance I have not needed a micrometer. Now I'm working where I need this knowledge. I have seen them used, but never explained. Thank you! This is a very explanation.

    I've struggled to understand how to read a micrometer up until now. This video teaches in a way anyone can understand. The use of the red dot made it so easy to follow. I now know how to use my micrometer. What a great video. Thank you.

    He did a great job of explaining how to read the micrometer. He made one mistake that I can tell. @ 0:45 he says "Point THREE seven five," and then says "Read it as seven hundred thirty five." I love youtube. You can learn so much from it.

    best tutorial ever im a diesel student and we have just taken apart a c9.3 cat engine and we have to measure the cam shaft crankshaft and deck height warpage etc and this saved my ass

    This is an excellent - clear - step by step instructions. I'm 50 years old trying to secure employment in quality control. I need to learn, understand and apply this type of skill set. It is not easy but you have made this so much easier to understand. I still have a long ways to go...but thank you! Now to push my luck do you have suggestion- blue print reading 101. I am add and a little dyslectic. But really grateful for the simple yet precise presentation.

    Thank you so much! Im learning to use the micrometer, made the mistake of thinking the 350 mark was on the barrel was 375 while the thimble was under 0, I was over by 25. I saw the 375 line and my mind just thought it was 375. This makes it so simple. Thank you!
