At first, I was confused because I was pressing "Ctrl" but nothing was happening. Then I realized I was forgetting to press "K", as well, haha - thanks for the tutorial, very helpful! :D
I did make another video about that. basically, you have to apply the color to the link text in source editor. For example, LInk Text would make the link text white. Unfortunately, the code has to be contained within the link or it won't work.
@@dumbdave961 😅 Well still you were a lot of help to idk how much people so thank you for making the others happy 😊, I'm gonna now look for a video about how to make wiki links on tablets or mobiles (if links can by made by mobiles and tablets anyways) bye 👋👋👋
@@AEAG9YT_ It should work the same if you're using the site. It is definitely tedious though. I've never used the Fandom app though, so I don't know how to add links that way. I recommend using a personal computer when editing
@@dumbdave961 I'm working on a horror game wiki that has information about characters I love in horror games and the timelines of those video games, Right now I'm setting the main stuff (like the main page and the explanation page) and I'm learning basic stuff, so hopefully by October i would,ve made my first character page or timeline page.
I don't know if there's any difference on mobile since I have very little experience with it. It would be really tedious to type all that text on a touch keyboard though. I definitely recommend using a bluetooth keyboard if you can. You can type way faster that way.
That's definitely weird. It is probably a bug. If it isn't fixed, then you should edit source and type out the full title or url of the page you want to link, depending on whether it's an internal or external link.
How I do that but with images?? Because I trying to add a link to an image
For that, you go into source editor, and add |link= before the link. If it's a link to a page within the wiki, you just have to put the page name.
@@dumbdave961 how do you do it on mobile
@@dumbdave961 i don't understand
@@supermarvinlogan30acre I guess I can make a tutorial for that...

How do i add links with colors, like in every part of the wiki it will always be the same color, like it will be red in every page it is used in?

I've never heard of that one. Is it on the Nitro Type wiki, or a different one? I can take a look and see what I can find

Good point... Are you on mobile? I don't have much experience with mobile because I prefer a PC.

@@Fatimamallalah Okay, sounds good. I think the same principles should apply.
Good, now do it in a template
What do you mean? I don't think it would work any differently for templates
thanks for the help!
Of course! I'm glad I could help. I'm hoping to make more videos like this too

That's cool. What kind of wiki did you create?
