Sir i have gone to change my swift suspension bcoz it run 50000+ km and told rs 18000/ but after watching your video i change my mind and told another mechanic to look on it and he told me that my link rod is slightly damage so i change link rod now my is running normal . I have a Wolkswagon Jetta car and I can feel the bumps on the road because of problems in the shock absorbers. VW is charging Rs 1 lakh for new ones. I spoke with a mechanic friend, he suggested not to repair the suspensions as it may be risky but instead suggested to get one from the grey market. Is that safe? What would you suggest?

I have Honda City Diesel with noise from front side. Agency checked and showed the one shocker is week. They have given the estimate of shocker, link rode, connecting rode and few parts as 28000. Thanks for the video. You saved me. But have not found a reliable person for the job till now.
This is the problem in India where it's hard to find a reliable person. Service centre will cheat you. Also if you are doing suspension work from outside they will also try to cheat you. So, if you have knowledge they can't easily cheat you.

In my past I didn't have knowledge about this and I had made this mistake of changing everything. And in honda city I have seen these things get damage very easily. Maybe due to stiff shockers.

After they took trial of my car, they said complete suspension to be replaced and given me tentative expense of Rs.25k. Since amt is on high side I decided to repair my car from some reputed private repairing shop instead of company workshop.

I keep the rubber bushings free of mud every month I use a mixture of 10 drops coconut oil in one litre water and spray it on all rubbers in the suspension area. Just focusing on keeping them clean because they crack when they are too dry(learnt that from Scotty kilmers TH-cam channel. He uses something called AT205 Reseal to keep suspension rubbers soft . I don't have that, but figured silicone emulsion will work just as well) I also use 1/4th tsp wavex silicone emulsion with 1 L water and spray that on the bushings after washing them first. Then i just let that water dry and mud/grease/grime does not accumulate on my suspensions The key is to keep dust out of those ball joint zones. The rubber bushings do that so take care of them Are any of your bushings cracked? Ball joints ka grease nikaal ke fresh grease ki zaroot hai. A local mechanic will do, showroom waale nahi karte greasing

Good video, can you tell me how much will it cost on Ritz (Type 1 petrol), any approximation will be fine. And another question related to brakes, does Ritz have a brake byte issue? Or is it because of the calipers? Wheels are getting really hot on a drive of 16Kms, new vacume booster assembly, new rotors, new brake shoes, still getting the same problem. A video would be great on this but I know it's not always possible to make such stuffs. A reply would be helpful atleast....thanks, Ryan!
Very well explained sir.. Thank you.. I showed my toyota Corolla for gen. Inspection in the authorised workshop.. They told me suspension is gone.. And even my disc plates mm is reduced a lot.. Need to change it all.. Total est. Cost 1 to 1.5 lacs... I told them i will see.. Now will cross check with my friends local trustes mechanic.. And will confirm and buy from grey market if really needed to change.. But the fact is i do not feel any bumps or sound in the car.. Its works fine.. During test drive.. The guy said everting is fine.. But when another mechanic lift the car and then gave his feedback... Some rubber were torn but still i feel something is not right.. Thanks once again.
