@@sailingtetaiko if you are looking for a place to get out of the cyclone season, I suggest you look into Majuro Atoll. Republic of Marshall Islands, approx 1300 miles north Fiji and at 7 degrees north out of the cyclone area, we stayed there for a couple of years.

@user-gk1qc1eu2i Hello - wow that sounds amazing! We looked up Majuro Atoll on Google Earth and it looks like a stunning spot. Does it rain much there in terms of catching rainwater for drinking? Also is there somewhere to leave to boat while taking an international trip? Thank you for watching the channel

Good morning folks. Just FYI, it's now 4°C down here somewhere in Nz. Overnight temps of 2C. Possibly colder? Just saying. Am I jealous of you, in your location.? Ubet.
Moving on.! Those bombies are damn close eh.? Hey just a quick Q and A....do you have any thoughts on visiting Nanuya Levu, where Blue Lagoon was filmed.? It's on my "to do" list, as is Pitcairn Island/s. And Tahiti, and Marquesas Islands and and..??
Thank you for taking the time to upload. Take care, and all the very best from down here.

Hello Bryan and thank you for your comment! The kiwi winter temps feel distant now but watching the systems rolling in from the Tasman I can appreciate what NZ has been experiencing. Regarding Nanuya Levu, we left there two days ago having stayed for a week sitting out 35 knot winds. I would regard it as the most protected anchorage we have been in in the Yasawa Islands. A main point that sets it apart from other anchorages on the Yasawas is the land at Blue Lagoon is low (30-40 m asl) so not as gusty as it could be if more hilly. Some uncharted reefs exist when entering from the west but nothing that can’t be figured out with aerial photos at the helm. Vicki finally got me to watch Blue Lagoon and we compromised on the 1980s version! Really appreciate your message feel free to make contact any time. Cheers, Adam
