Our oldest daughter (24)moved back home last March. She’s been gone for almost 6 years. She said she just couldn’t live anymore without her father and the family in her life. She left under not so good circumstances and just wanted to come home and patch things up. She’s so happy. It’s been a beautiful experience for all of us (Dad, Mom, and 9 children).
Needless to say, I’m happy for you. Age certainly doesn’t determine our love for our children.
Kiara is exact copy of her mother physically, and the heart she has is of both her parents'. And that "pivot" part was hilarious. Love your family from Pakistan ❤️
Moving back home would not only save money, but you also get to spend quality time at home with family. I believe moving out should not be rushed until the child is done with college and have a good paying job. I didn't move out until I was 24 years old after I was able to support myself after college.
I was 27 and my parents still wanted me to stay longer. 😁
I stayed with my parents until I got married at 30 yo. That is the norm in our culture though. Kids only move out when they get married. We are so lucky 😁
I'm 32 and still live with my parents. We normally stay with our parents until we are married or we can support ourselves financially. We are a very close Italian American family. I love being with my parents. No place I'd rather be.

You also had parents who naturally adored you and telling you how amazing you are etc. Not everyone has that.
I recently moved in with my 70 year old mother because she has dementia and needs a caretaker…while some days are more challenging than others, my heart is happy knowing I’m able to help and make memories with the woman who’s given me everything throughout my 36 years on earth ❤ Welcome home, Reese!

Mom had Alzheimer’s but I treasure the times we had together forever! The best thing you could do for her and you! Patience patience and lots of love with her…you will appreciate the times you had spent with her once she goes to be with the Lord! Much love.
Going through the same. My father passed away recently & I am currently caring for my mom who has dementia. There will be bad days but always embrace the good days. Stay strong & patient 🙏🏼

Good for Reese for getting an experience on trying out her own new space but, I am glad that she will be back home with all of you and hope that her cat likes the new place as well. i am 35 and living with my parents for now as i have anxiety of dying alone in my sleep so i can't live alone for now. it's okay. i need to accompany my mother actually. being at home with parents is really different.

Parent's affection hugs must sharing equitably as possible between all of kids ...comfort , materials, many foods, many clothes, and others are not main! Kids need same demonstration of affection from parents

When my high school orchestra buses were coming back up from Disney World back in April, we stopped at Buckeye’s gas station and boy it was literally the BIGGEST GAS STATION I had ever seen! Also they made me pay to fill up my water bottle for some reason. The sea beast was a great animated movie 🎥 🍿 to watch. Glad Reese made it back safely ❤️ u guys and the fun family-based content :)

I don’t understand the obsessive shaming of single adults living with their parents in American culture. @@AFFTFOMSICHTS 🙂 It's because the "older/ traditional" American culture was more so that your children did move out younger...to hear that your child at 22yrs old was still at home was odd and out of realm back in the beginnings of America :)
Parents expected their children to be exceptionally grown up and adult at a much younger age... expected that they did start their families of their own, start homesteading/ranching or head off to school out East! They just had their own goals and a set place in society already at a very young age.
Culture here has changed alot since then though and it's alot more accepted to still be at your parent's home into your 20s, but their is still a majority depending on which state and region, that are more traditionalists :) ...it's normal in general though, for every country and certain regions of people to have their traditions and expectaions of life, :) it doesnt make one country wrong or better over the other, just make them different :) ...hope that explains why you get that vibe and feeling from the USA! :)
