Not really Mike, I leave the clever stuff to you... I use about 12m of beech boards a quarter for a commercial product and get between 5 and 15mm offcut from each plank so lots of random strips of beech to play with.
Sorry Paul I have been trying to remember where the light came from but can't, had it quite a while now. Simple enough light I will show it off on Sundays live and hopefully someone in the chat will know where it came from!
very nice Pete. You must have given that grain matching some thought because it pretty well looks like a single piece of wood.

Thank you Ruby, it was nice to cut, should have gone 4 pieces on the glue up though then there would be a cherry stipe down the stem.
Very nice Pete.

Hi Paul, found it.... www.woodart-products.co.uk/3_Lights.php
Nice job Pete. Amazing how much you can do with a skew (if you have the skill and confidence)
Confidence, and attention is the key Skew likes to play up if you don't give it the attention, and that unfortunately busts confidence for many
👍🏻👏🏻
Thank you
Very nice goblet Pete I am shocked that there is no captive rings lol
If there were any captive rings they would obviously require censorship ;-)
