Thank you Al, I haven't turned a goblet for a while so I enjoyed it, putting a lid on it was an afterthought but that was using the last of the blank so needed doing :-)
I have made wedding toast chalices in the past with lids, and the suggestion that some keep sakes / confetti bits of ribbon ring boxes etc. can be kept in it after the ceremony. This one was just cos there was a bit of timber left after parting off :-)
