Here for your enjoyment - beautiful, rare and mostly forgotten Etude by Vladimir Morkov. Can you hear the Spanish influences in this piece ? Morkov was Fernando Sor's friend. So, it is not surprising that they borrowed from each other's styles and techniques. Interestingly, Fernando Sor is given credit for almost identical version known as Etude #.17 Opus #35. Who was first? I'd say Fernando because of the Spanish accents, but they're both equally nice.
