i always trust the bmw 5 series line up to be best and it never fails
Its hybrid, weighs more than the X5 M, the V8 makes less HP than the previous M5 and there will no competion……
@@Bello-Gall true but the v8 combines with the electric motor to give it a combined 730ish hp with a lot more torque than any other m5 created so it does produce more power to handle the extra weight which shows in the same 0-60 as previous lighter model

Heavier yes? Slower? Yet to be determined. However since you focus on reported not actual specs, the new m5 also crushes the f90 M5CS in both rolling acceleration tests. Oh and the Porsche panamera turbo ehybrid weighs 5302 lbs has 50 less hp and torque.

@@bittertruth0000 huh, the panamera has always been the large sports sedan competitor to the 5 series, E class, and RS7? I will guarantee the new e class hybrid will also be over 5k lbs. I don’t like it but we are all faced with our cars becoming bigger and heavier as the years pass. The m5 has truly become a really fast grand tourer type 🤷♂️
