Walmart's $22 OZARK TRAIL Hikers [Sponsorless review]

Short answer: buy a pair, and get some insoles for them! Wet or dry, I've been running, climbing, and biking all over the outdoors with these hikers for the last two seasons. You will easily get a hard year of (ab)use out of a pair.
►Pros: cheap, lightweight, moderately comfy, great traction, rugged.
►Cons: requires additional insole, low ankle support.
►pocket's overall opinion: ★★★★½ out of 5.
Get out there and use 'em up. Shoes are not a thing to be worried about trashing! The way I see it, if it isn't bothering me, then it's working just fine. Since they haven't annoyed me even once yet, I must conclude that Ozark Trail hikers are a product that strike a great compromise between value and usefulness.
