Thanks for all your videos. This one was mostly review for me, but it is always good to have basic concepts reinforced with crystal clear explanations. On an unrelated note, I am wondering if you think ""Line for Lyons"" by Gerry Mulligan would be a good candidate for a solo piano arrangement.? Maybe? Please? :)
Don't see the upper right hand corner icon. This time on a different Win10 computer, and searching for you on youTube. Maybe I should be using youTube Premium?
I looked it up to see how this could happen. I saw that this was happening to people in 2021. It was a bug in TH-cam I guess. I'll keep looking into it. In the meantime I will get back to you about the beginner course in order. I just need to find quiet time to get this done for you.
Argh! I am endlessly frustrated with TH-cam videos. They ALL go over the same basic information for someone who's never opened a book before, and almost never take it to the next step.
I hear you. I've produced over 450 videos. If you tell me what you're looking for, I certainly can try to point you in the right direction. If you go into my livestream playlist, you'll find more advanced tutorials. Or join me live on Saturday morning for masterclasses right here on TH-cam and you can ask your questions 😁
@@Jazzmentl WHY and WHEN to alter chords and reharmonize. I know all the theory, but I have zero confidence, "should I play something different here?" "what should I play differently here?" I have no confidence that if the chord symbol says C7, it's okay to play C7#11 or C7b9 or whatever, and why would want to or should. Zero confidence whatever. :) Thank you!
