A Psychologists took me out of my classroom, and to her office. While using plastic hand puppets she asked me "if my father did this, or did that to me," while using the puppets. I told her "NO!!!!!! my Daddy doesn't do anything like that. I want to go back to my classroom." When I got home I told my parents. Who came up to the school. Even at 7, years old I knew what she was trying to do. That was 46, years ago. I am still traumatized by that incident. It is very emotional for me to think, that a strange woman would try to get me to say that my wonderful, and loving father tried to do bad things to me. I never did see that woman again. I believe that there are innocent people that are accused of horrible, sexual abuse towards children. There has to be a better way than using puppets. How I hate, that lady and those puppets. I still remember what I was wearing that day. I still remember how I was sitting on my knees with my elbow on her desk. To remember something like this is heartbreaking. I loved my father. He was a great father and husband. He died when he was 60. I was only 16. My heart is still shattered. I will never be the same person I was, before his death.
