Let me tell you how i use it, i live in chandigarh city, and use K&N in Skoda Laura 210BHP TSI.
BUT BUT BUT, When i need to travel in Punjab and other interiors i always change to OEM AIRFILTER. Trust me guys K&N is SHIT in stopping fine DIRT. OEM FILTER is best to supply clean air to engine.
Engine sound change to more loud and engine feel free to accelerate.

@@suttus007 nope i havent bought filter after doing detailed study of such performance filters. It has pros and cons. And am not one having spare money or spare car to use such add ons. It has advantages for sure but over a lot of issues and disadvantages which will occur in the near future. If u wanna sell ur car within 5years then go for it else no

K&N doesnt filter micro dust, if want high performance filter with good micro dust filter then take AEM or just normal filter of WIX.
Best micro dust filters are Hengst or Alco and a Mann filter if its about micro dust filter and airflow.

There’s a really good video made by Scotty who explains k&n and stock filters. K&N maybe a good brand. But it’s also known for attracting a dust lot faster. Our road conditions mean there’s a lot more dust, meaning inspection every week to check the filter clogging . Stick to filters recommended by OEM. Our cars do not have throughout that would increase significantly by just changing air filter. At best it’ll just increase fuel air mixture and may / may not increase mileage. You may feel engine is running clean but it can turn out otherwise in no time. Lest you have a mechanic at your payroll who knows everything there’s to know about ICE NA or turbo, it’s better not to mess with manufacturer settings. I’d like to conclude by asking performance enthusiasts and petrol heads, where exactly do you see space on roads to put pedal to metal.
