Most updates, while they do require a lot of gold, end up being close to break-even. A guy on the RR3 Wikia page calculates it for every update. Now, he uses it to determine the cost to remain at 100% completion, but the last 2 or 3 updates have been gold positive or barely in the negative. That's counting being in Group B of the Time Trial Tournament, though. That said, before I joined a good race team and started getting the extra gold from WTTT, I was able to complete each update earning all the cars without spending money.

Yes, more or less. I just ran three races in that series and kept time. 3 laps at Hockenheim pays 2600 Fame and takes 5 minutes 9 seconds. That's 504 fame per minute. 3 laps at Silverstone pays 2700 fame and takes 5 minutes 22 seconds. That's 503 fame per minute. The endurance race at Suzuka pays 700 fame per lap, so if you can run more than 4 laps, it pays more than Silverstone. I ran 9.2 miles in 5 minutes 42 seconds, paying 3020 fame. That's 529 fame per minute, but only if you can win AND run more than 4 laps, every time. Silverstone is the highest guaranteed payout.
@@redmarauder I feel like, in these numbers, there's always neglecting the time it takes to reopen the particular race. That's gotta take at least a minute, and would likely skew some of the ratios in the direction of the ones that pay more immediately.

I can. The thing is...nothing has changed. The fame payouts for Silverstone, Mt. Panorama, and the 4 lap LeMans race are all still the same. Yes, the NASCAR series has moved and those have far different payouts. But the payouts for the Career series are the same.
if you want to grind and are a mid-level player who's low on gold, use the audi r8 lms ultra as well as the manager, the agent and the engineer as well as some daily bonuses to get a fuck ton of gold and R$ on the exclusive series 16.1 doesnt cost a lot to fully upgrade but will dent your gold a bit

Yes, that's the best race, other than the endless endurance races.
There is one more good race in pure stock challenge. Hockenheim ring just before Silverstone. Reward is the same and you can run 3 times.

There is a much easier way to unlock classic Ferrari showdown. If u complete v8 performance brawl in pro/am u can unlock it
