Best regular season in MLS history, let's go! Turner was solid as always in goal, fantastic save in the first half. Tajon and Bou definitely letting it fly today and eventually capitalizing. What a player Tajon is, I miss him more and more with each quality performance he puts in. Also of note, Kessler made some key interventions at the back, really clean game. Ultimately, despite plenty of chances on both sides and largely poor finishing, the Revs got it done against a tough playoff team, and we will need more of that in the actual playoffs come November. On to Miami and Go Revs!
WE DID IT!!!!!!! Best club in MLS history, what a set of words. After the match and to this point, I am just speechless. Being/going to matches and watching your side have a moment like this is truly something I will never forget. The passion erupting from the stadium as Tajon managed to find out way through really is just a special feeling. Kess, Matt Turner, Gustavo, and Tajon were all exceptional tonight. Henry was my MOTM stopping at least three promising counters and attacks from the rapids. Gustavo especially in recent weeks has started to shift back into midfield and be more involved in the build up which I have been wanting to see for so long. Since doing so, he looks unplayable👏🏻🤩. Then the Record Boy Tajon, sets our transfer fee record so he has to do it for the points as well🇨🇦⚡️!! Everyone played well though, we just missed a few opportunities. There were probably about four pen shouts, but I think the Drew Moor - Adam Buksa one should have been reviewed further. Adam was being held down by Drew Moor pulling on his shirt, and Moor wasn’t even looking at the ball or trying to challenge it in the air. It’s not really a coincidence that one of the best aerial players in MLS is being held down from a ball in the air. Overall though, the only thing that really matters out of this match is the record, and I’m sure we can add it to 76 after inter Miami. I’m sure none of them read this, but if they do I just want to thank all of the boys who contributed to this. This club really means everything to me and I wouldn’t want any other players in this squad. I truly am so, so proud to support the greatest club in the world. GOOOOOO REVS!!!!!!!🛡 + 73
Andrew, good to see your passion. I used to go the Revs games but now live in WIchita, KS. Still follow them, along with the other Boston/New England teams. It IS great to see that in print - Best Team in MLS History!!
Colorado rested a bunch of starters and almost got a result against the best team in MLS history. Some better finishing would've made the difference. Congrats to the Revs on breaking the record, and im also proud of my Rapids, who have had a phenomenal season despite the odds.
They played well. Fraser had them sit back and try and get something on the counter and got close a few times. Diego Rubio did a brilliant job getting under our skin. Cole basset just struck anything in and around the 18 which probably stopped a couple promising attacks. One very nice strike from him though. Fraser has done a top, top job with the rapids and I am certainly excited to see what else he can do with this squad
Man come to think a year ago I became a Revs fan when I was bored, and wanted a new sport. Now, the Revs won the shield, and I’m sitting here screaming for Buksa. Go Revs!
A Wednesday during the tail end of a Nor'easter isn't exactly ideal for filling a stadium. Wednesday games are a bit lacking in general, but hard to blame folks for this one. I live in southern NH and we got smacked by the storm, Mass had it worse than we did. I think 600k people lost power Tuesday into Wednesday.
The reason they accomplished anything this season is thanks to Polish international Adam Buksa. For him scoring/assisting in this league is like taking candy from a baby. Very easy for him because this league is amateur compared to what they play in Europe
That's an easy thing to think by looking at his goal count. And, he is a good striker by MLS standards. But, it takes a lot of other members of the Revs to make him look so good. Honestly, I'd put Bou, Gil, Turner, and Kesler above Buksa in terms of how much they contributed to this season's success.
There is TOO much talented football players here for the football not to get better here. It may never be Liverpool or MC level, but MLS teams could give mid table PL teams a good game.
para cuando el descenso en esta liga??? .
New England Revolution think that they are a sure bet to win the MLS Cup; think again. No offense, but why are so many people love this team so much... they are mediocre at best and are extremely lucky to even reach the top spot in the table.
What do you mean by extremely lucky? They broke the regular season points record, won the supporters shield, cleared the east by 20 points, and you call them mediocre? Also so many people may like this team because they’re the best MLS team of all time.

I hope to see this same strength in the playoffs. It's been a long time coming!
So proud of the revs been watching since I was 18months many heartbreaks but man this feels good. We made history
The 2 Canadians looking pretty good, Buchanan (NE) and Mark Anthony Kay (Colorado).

Buchanan is going to the premier league next season

So surreal. Congrats! 🤟🏼
Nah
you think they will take mls cup?
WIN THE CUP
I'm so proud of Buchanon
He's a straight up gem, man. I'm happy he gets to go to Europe and learn and grow, but damn it sucks to lose such a fun and exciting player.
Yes but when you see all our new canadian star, they are all at the attaque...
I was there watching Revolution making history.
NEW ENGLAND TILL I DIE
I WAS AT THE GAME AND HAPPY TO SEE HISTORY MADE ON A COLD NEW ENGLAND NIGHT
This is the revs year, best team in the MLS, and built for the playoffs, 2021 will be the year when the revs win their first mls cup
Let’s go Revs MLS history baby 💙❤️❤️💙

Can’t wait to see these two teams in the final, that is right, going through Seattle or Kansas definitely

Every match is just loads of shots from outside the box. Wish players would try and work the ball more intelligently.
How does the best team In the MLS have 12 fans in the stadium...
There was a bad storm and most of South Massachusetts didn’t have power I was one of them

Give it time. We've been pretty good at losing since '96 till now
@@grambo5163 ok then they usually have 15 fans. I always see a near empty stadium for NE.
This team was in the MLS Cup final 4-5 times and won 0 MLS Cups; we shall see how they will play this year if they are in the final again.
Seasons almost done.
No more scrimmage games!
Watch out for Nashville
Revs
New England Revolution me da tanta ansiedad que cosa hara en la Liga de Campeones de la Concacaf
I wonder if scouting report plays a role into game plan or if the revs would take these kinds of shots on any keeper/defense
SUUUUPER! SUPER REVS!! SUUUUPER! SUPER REVS!! 🇺🇸 🌲
Revs need to go to Boston. Foxboro attendance is NOT cutting it

Wow. Two key tackles and an excellent shot on goal in the highlights. Wish I was there to watch the rest!
lol the best mls team for years is a stoke city team under Tony pulis.
I like how colorado players dont know how to shoot by shooting weakly straight at turner lol
Don’t forget buskas absolute bullet at 1MPH at the keeper lol
