I Loved building the Mercury for this challenge and also the unit select switch lets you choose between MPH , km/h and m/s and it was on MPH by default (sry I did a poor job of labeling it)
it seemes that most were based on real trains, 2 of them were based on the same loco, Siemens Charger. Although the Puma seems to be mostly made-up, the colors reminded me of the THSR 700T
In real steam locomotives you have limited view just like you had. There’s a reason freight trains don’t usually run “long hood toward” now a days for that exact reason. Most trains now are built with a lower nose or no nose for the passenger trains.
Imo second locomotive I think will fit your railwork the best... It is simple, it has awesome details and the most important - it refers to real life loco model and follows original design very well, as all of your trains you've build do. Well, it needs own German passenger cars for sure.
can we do a steam train challenge but they don't have all the requirements of a modern train because i want to enter but idk any code or how to make that work.

They should add powerlines above the tracks so you can build electric trains without the need for a generator
but you’ll generate more power the faster you go so you can’t infinity charge other creations

The arctic runner had some design similarities with the amtrak on the outside
I suck at coachwork and interiors, but my traction systems are second to none. =P I'm sure about half my fleet can pull that coach over 150 mph.
